The car went to a stop right near Eddie's trailer.Nancy stood up " Okay. I wanna run through it one more time."
Phase one.
"We meet Erica at the playground. She'll signal Max and Lucas when we're ready" Robin answered.
Phase 2
"Max baits Vecna. He'll go after her, which'll put him in his trance." Steve explained making Madison shiver at the thought.
Phase 3
"Me, and Eddie draw the bats away," Dustin answered.
Four
Madison held up a Molotov Cocktail." We head into Vecna's newly bat-free lair, and... flambe"
"Nobody moves on to the next phase until we've all copied. Nobody deviates from the plan, no matter what. Got it,"
"Got it," they said in unison.
They entered inside Eddie's trailer, locking the door behind them. Steve puts his bag down and grabs the rope.
"Be careful."
Steve nods at the young boy. "Thanks, buddy."
"Here goes nothing."
He climbed up the bed sheet and did a flip landing perfectly on the floor. Steve looked up at the group and smirked.
""What does he want us to do, applaud," Robin said sarcastically
Madison ended up tossing his things to the gate but stood there hesitant for a second. She took in a deep breath and ended up grabbing the rope. Only this time Madison landed safely.
"Gotcha."
Steve lifts her. The two ended up making eye contact, Madison looked at his lips for a second. Eddie started throwing down weapons. The remaining got down the rope one by one.
Steve turned to the two. "Hey, guys, listen. If things here, start to go south. I mean, at all, you abort. Okay? Draw the attention of the bats. Keep 'em busy for a minute or two. We'll take care of Vecna. Don't try to be cute or be a hero or something. Okay? You guys are just--"
"Decoys, Don't worry. You can be the hero, Steve."
Eddie nods in agreement. "Absolutely. I mean, look at us. We are not heroes."
Madison approaches Dustin and hugs him.
"Be safe"
"I will"
She goes on and gives Eddie a pat on his shoulder. He steps up a few steps, a bit hesitant.
"Hey, Steve?"
Steve turns around to face him.
"Make him pay."
He just gave him a slight nod, the four walked together ready for battle.
