Hammer to Fall by Queen is playing in his car. The two teens are processing what Dustin just told them.
"Wait a sec how big?" Steve broke the silence.
Dustin shows them his size with his hand.
"First, he was like this( small) Now he's like this,"( big)
Steve focused his attention on the road. Madison put her hands on her face." I swear if this is just a little lizard."
'It's NOT!"
Steve went on clearly not believing him. "How do you know it's not"
"Because his face opened up and he ate my cat."
The two teens' eyes widen. Steve raised an eyebrow and nods.
"That thing ate your cat", Madison joined in
"Youve seen this before?"
"Yeah, I helped look for his little pet in the middle school. "Wait a second, you've had it this whole time." Madison suddenly realized.
"I didn't want Lucas to get mad at me."
Getting out of the car, Steve opens the trunk grabbing the bat with nails. Her eyes scan the bat, shocked. "What the Hell,"
"Do you believe me now?"
"Yeah, I can see why this type of stuff is top secret," Madison responded.
He closed the trunk, and they followed to the cellar. Steve's flashlight is aimed at the door."Well, I don't hear shit."
"Me either"
"He is in there."
Steve puts his bat on the door to make a noise, but nothing.Madison sticks her right arm out, motioning for the bat. "Let me try!"
She slammed the door making a loud bang, nothing.Steve points his flashlight at his face, making him squint. "Alright, listen, kid, I swear, if this is some Halloween prank, you're dead.''
His eyes started to blink very fast from the light. "It's not. It's not a prank. Get it out of my face.''
"Mhmm"
"Do you have a key for this thing," Steve asked.
Dustin nods and reaches for the keys in his pocket giving them to him. "He has to be further down there. I'll stay up here while you two go down there."
Madison lowered her head "God why did I agree to this?"
Steve puts his hand in front of her, making sure she doesn't get hurt. "Stay behind me"
They go down the steps reaching the floor.Bumping into an odd string, Madison eyed it curiously, something ended up catching her attention. "Hey look,"
Steve walks over to what seems like dead skin. The ground is full of slime, the skin goes on his bat, he examines it with the flashlight but looks over to the hole.
