A few minutes later ......

"Wait, that last part, just one more time"

" Okay"

Dustin plays the recording again. "Okay, that word"

Robin paced around the room, trying to decipher the code.

"It's pronounced DLY- NNA - YA Which is spelled."

She snaps her fingers repeatedly... "D, D, D... The chair-looking thingy"

Madison watched the two figure out the first sentence and stood up. "You two continue translating, I'm going to go scoop ice cream with Steve."

She walks out, her arms on the counter as she lets out a huge sigh. "It's so hard to translate Russian,"

Max and Eleven approached Scoops Ahoy

She smiled at her sister and then looked at Eleven, shocked.

"Oh, hey Max, El"

"Hey"

Madison scoops up the strawberry flavor as Steve scoops up Vanilla.

"What are you two up to?"

"Shopping,"

Max has a smile on her face.

"This is her new style, what do you think."

Eleven is wearing a black romper with an abstract pattern. It matched her very well. "Nice,"

"Bitchin"

Madison nods " Yeah Bitchin. I'm glad you two are getting along, But Max, you should get her home before Hopper finds out."

The door swings open, and Robin pokes her head out.

"We got our first sentence."

"Oh seriously," Steve said excited.

Robin imitated a Russian accent.

"The week is long."

"Well, that's thrilling," Steve replied, sarcastically.

Madison grinned slightly

"Well at least it's something, continue translating."

She passed her younger sister an ice cream cone. "Okay here you go, Strawberry. Your favorite."

Steve passed another ice cream cone to Eleven.

"And for you vanilla ice cream, sprinkles, and extra whip cream. "

"Thanks," the girls said in unison

As they licked their ice cream, Steve squinted and looked at Eleven.

"Wait for a second, are you even allowed to be in here?"

The two girls made eye contact smiling. Max shook her head no and ran off with Eleven. "Um OK"

"Let's just hope she doesn't get in trouble."

A few hours later...

"The week is long, the silver cat feeds, when blue meets yellow in the west."

Madison shakes her head confused. "I still don't get it."

'Well, it's a code. We are not going to understand until we figure it out."

Robin grabbed her bag, and they followed her out.

Steve grabbed his keys closing Scoops Ahoy for the night. "I mean, it just can't be right."

"No, it's right,"

"Well, I honestly think it's good news," Dustin told the group.

Steve shoved his keys in his pocket and caught up with the rest of them out of the mall.

"How is this great news? "I mean, so much for being American heroes."

Madison shrugged "Hey, at least they figured it out, we just don't know what it means,"

"It's total nonsense,"

"It's not nonsense. It's too specific. It's a code. " Dustin slightly smiled.

"What do you mean, a code?"

Dustin shrugged. "Like a super-secret spy code."

"That's a total stretch."

Robin faced the Scoops Ahoy pair "I don't know, is it?"

"You're buying into this?"

Madison just shook her head no in response

"Listen just for kicks let's entertain the possibility that it is a secret Russian transmission. What'd you think they were going to say, "Fire the warhead at noon"? Robin explained.

"Exactly"

"And my translation is correct. I know that for sure, so...The silver cat feeds. "Robin paused for a second to think. "Why would anyone talk like that unless they're trying to mask- the meaning of their message?"

" Exactly"

A smile formed on Robin's face as Dustin agreed. "Why would anyone mask the true meaning of their message unless the message was somehow sensitive? So, I guess that confirms your suspicion."

"Evil Russians"

Robin chuckled, "I can't believe I'm about to agree with this strange child, but, yeah, totally evil Russians."

"So how do we crack it?"

Robin adjusted her bag" Well, I guess we translate the rest and hopefully a pattern emerges. "

"A pattern. Right, like maybe Silver Cat is a meeting place?"

"Or a person," Robin added on

"Or a weapon,"

Madison felt someone touch her shoulder. She turned around just to see Steve behind her.
"Do you need anything?"

"A quarter."

Madison furrowed her eyebrows. "A quarter? For what"

"I have an idea."

She watches Steve walk to the Indiana Flyer; Madison turns her attention to Robin. "Well, it'll probably take a super genius to crack it, but...Where's Steve?"

He puts his hand in his pocket trying to find something.

"What are you doing?"

"Uh, it's a quarter. I need...Do you have a quarter?"Steve questioned.

"You sure are tall enough for that ride, "

Steve didn't want to hear Robin sarcastic remarks. "QUARTER!"

Madison found one in her wallet and threw it at him.

"Nice catch."

"You need help getting up, little Stevie?"

Robin giggled making the two laugh as well. He held his hand up" Shhh, will you three shut up and listen?"

"Oh my God."

"Holy shit, the music"

Dustin takes his bag off and sets it on the floor, playing with the tape.

"I don't understand,"

"The music, It's the exact same song on the recording." Dustin explained

"Maybe Russia has horses like that."

Steve shook his head. " Indiana Flyer? Robin, I don't think so This code didn't come from Russia, it came from here".

The rest of the group stared at the horse as Daisy Bell played.
