                             2 Months Later

Basil

"Tell me where she is!" I grab the plier and pull his fingernail off. For every minute he doesn't answer I pull a nail off, now he only has fingernails left on one hand. Once they're all gone I'll get started on his teeth.

"I don't know, I promise." He begged. I pull the nail from his thumb, he shrieks like a girl.

"Wait, wait. Rosalie... Rosalie knows. That night at the gathering of the families I saw her talking to Timothy, I heard her mention your wife's name." I set the pliers down, finally after torturing eleven people I'm getting closer.

"Andre, call Rosalie and tell her I want to see her. When she comes bring her down here."

"Yes, afentikó." Andre said.

"Leander, get rid of him."

"No! Wait! I told you what you wanted to know." He screamed.

"It doesn't matter, you were part of the people that took my wife." Taking out my gun I put a bullet in his head, his body slumping over. His eyes gaze into nothing. Leander takes the body away. The only thing left is blood pooling around the chair.

Timothy Argyros, he has something to do with my wife's disappearance. These last two months have been torture not knowing if she or the babies are ok.
If she ate, if she's been treated right. I don't want to think about what else she could be going through, the thought that she could be hurting fills me with agony.

"Afentikó she's here." Niko said.

"Bring her down."

"Let me go, you can't do this I'm a Galanis, my father will have your head for this." Andre brings in a struggling Rosalie, her eyes widen in shock when she sees me.

"Strap her in." Andre straps her into the chair. Tightening the straps on her neck, wrists and ankles.

"Hello Rosalie." I grin evilly. She stares up at me in fear. The sight she sees must be terrifying, I'm covered in blood and when I killed David his blood splattered onto my face. You should fear me because you won't be leaving here alive.

"Basil, why am I here?"

"I think you know why you're here, so go ahead and tell me what I want to know." I demanded.

"I don't know what you're talking about." She tries to lie, I pull a tool out.

"Do you know what this is? This is a tool that gets a grip of your skin and lets me peel it from your body easily." The smell of urine assaults my nose, her fear palpable.

"She's at Timothy's house, on Kos island. He's keeping her in the basement." She spills the truth before I get the chance to torture the answer out of her, ruining my fun.

"Can I go now?" She asked. I laugh at her question.

"You think I'm going to let you go? When you helped that fucker kidnap my wife." I gritted out.

"You were mine first. She was in the way, she had to disappear!" Grabbing my gun I empty the chamber into her body.

"Sapízei stin kólasi skýla." (Rot in hell bitch.)

"Leander, here's another body to take care of." He comes in and drags the body to the back.

"Andre, round up a hundred men. I have a wife to get back." Hold on Layla I'm almost there.

We arrived at Kos island in record time. Me and my men get into the vehicles that I had someone prepare for us before hand.
Driving to Timothy's house, I feel a calm settle over me. Knowing that Layla will be in my arms soon.

"Afentikó, I had Apollo snipe the guards around the house, so far there's only twenty men inside."  Good, a hundred men against twenty.

Pulling up to the house all my men get out, we stealthily walk to the front. I kick the door open and that's when the fun begins. Guns go off, bodies go down. I fire round after round into bodies.

"If you see Timothy I want him alive." I have plans for him.

"That's all of them afentikó, Apollo has Timothy in the car." Andre said.

"Any casualties on our end?"

"No."

"Good, tell Apollo he can head out now, tell him to strap Timothy into the chair in the torture room. Let Leander know that he can get started on him but to keep him alive."

"Yes afentikó."

I search for the door of the basement, opening the door I'm met with darkness. Turning on the lights as I walk down I come face to face with a door, a heavy bolt on it. Unlocking the bolt the sight that meets my eyes nearly brings me to my knees. Layla is huddled in a corner rocking back and forth, she's dirty her hair is matted and she's lost some weight. There's a heavy chain tethered to her ankle connecting to the wall. Slowly walking to her the stench wafting from her burns my eyes.

"Layla?" She stops moving, her soulless gaze meets mine. I take in the scars on her back, some fresh and some old, taking off my jacket I cover her naked body. I will make that fucker pay for what he did to her. Whatever he did to her I will do to him tenfold, he will be begging, screaming and crying to die but I won't let him, his death won't be easy.

"Niko! Bring me the keys by the door." He hands me the keys and I unlock the chain from her ankle. I help her stand, her rounded belly has me choking up. I settle my hand over her stomach and feel light flutters against my palm. Tears track down my face, feeling my children move for the first time.

"Layla? Can you talk? Please say something." I begged for the first time in my life. She continues staring at nothing her eyes blank. There's no recognition. Embracing her against my body I can feel how thin she's become, her eyes are hollow, her skin pale and her hair is greasy.

"I'm sorry, so sorry. Please forgive me for not coming sooner." I cried against her hair, not caring that my men are seeing me at my lowest.

I steer her up the stairs while she blindly follows. Helping her into the backseat of the car we head home.

"Afentikó, will she be ok?" Niko asked.

"She will be, I'll help her overcome any of her demons." She sits still next to me, she hasn't said a word yet and I'm not sure she will, I pull her closer to me and kiss her head. Hoping somehow that we can overcome this.
