"It does not matter now?" Chaeyoung pushed Taehyung's hand away and bit her lip. "You were only using me to get rid of Tzuyu. You are Fox. You are the one who mailed the information that could destroy Tzuyu to Jisoo."

Taehyung's brows furrowed. His thoughts began to blur as blood continued flowing from his arm.

Wooshik asked him to stop the bleeding, but it seemed as though he could not hear him.

"Sister-in-law, can we please go home to discuss this? I am begging you," Wooshik pleaded.

The sapphire felt hot in Chaeyoung's palm. She looked at the man standing opposite her.

She no longer had time to go home and talk it over with them.

She only wanted to get an answer from Taehyung before she died.

"That was just a coincidence," Taehyung answered.

As Chaeyoung listened to him, she could feel the sapphire becoming hot in her hand.

The increasing heat from the sapphire burned her palm and she could feel her heart burning too.

Chaeyoung slowly stepped back as she looked at the man who was standing desperately before her.

'Even today, even though you have hurt me so badly.

'I still do not want you to die.

'However, I can no longer allow myself to forgive you. I have no other way to forgive you anymore.

'And you, you would not be able to forgive me in this life either, would you?'

Taehyung watched as Chaeyoung slowly stepped backward. His heart grew more anxious and he wanted to reach out and hold the woman who stood before him. However, he could not lift his injured arm.

"Chaeyoung!" Taehyung shouted desperately, hoping that she would not step back any further.

"Chaeyoung, come here please," Taehyung reached out to her but the excessive blood loss blurred his vision again.

Chaeyoung silently watched Taehyung. She did not know if his voice was trembling because of his injury, or because of something else.

She could no longer go there.

"Chaeyoung, please calm down. We can talk about this later," Eunwoo pleaded as he held onto his injured shoulder.

Chaeyoung glanced at the three men standing before her, and all she thought of was the people who had died in the explosion.

A good talk?

Seulgi had not given her that much time.

Time was ticking away. She could even count the number of seconds she had left.

"Taehyung whatever I owe you in this life, I will return it all to you today. Let's not owe each other anymore. May we never meet again," Chaeyoung whispered. In the next second, she had turned around and jumped into the sea without any hesitation.

She jumped into the sea.

The splash she made was swallowed up by the heavy rain.

"Chaeyoung!" Taehyung screamed before jumping in after her.

The sea was filled with a red that quickly faded away, leaving behind only a faint smell of blood.

As Chaeyoung sank deeper into the sea, the sapphire in her hand slowly slipped out of her palm.

She was falling slowly.

She had never felt this relaxed before.

She was finally liberated.

'Taehyung, whatever I owe you, whatever Insung owes you, I have given it all back.

'You will no longer exist in my future.'

After the ocean waves passed, Chaeyoung slowly sank to the bottom of the sea. In the blink of an eye, even her shadow disappeared.

It was as though no such person had ever existed.
