Chapter 10: Mrs. Kim's Image is Worthless Anyway

Tzuyu looked at Taehyung. She was concerned as Taehyung had never been this nice to Chaeyoung.

"Tae, she really did hit me, everyone saw." Tzuyu grabbed his arm as she cried.

 Chaeyoung looked at Tzuyu.

Taehyung looked at Chaeyoung. He patted on Tzuyu's hand and walked towards Chaeyoung.

Seeing Taehyung walking to Chaeyoung, there was victory in Tzuyu's eyes.

Not knowing what Taehyung would do, Chaeyoung was anxious. She knew Taehyung would hit women if he had to. So, she reasonably believed that he would give her a nice good slap for  Tzuyu.

Taehyung got closer. Chaeyoung wanted to step back, but eventually decided to stand there, defending her very last piece of pride. She would pick up the pride that she had lost two years ago. There was no chance for her to back out this time.

Taehyung stopped one step away from Chaeyoung, bent over and whispered in her ear, "Mrs. Kim called her a home breaker. Do you admit now that Mr. Kim still belongs to Mrs. Kim, and the divorce is not real?"

Chaeyoung was stunned listening to what Taehyung said. At the same time Taehyung had already took one step back, looked at Chaeyoung and said, "Please do apologize since you admitted hitting her."

Chaeyoung  pursed her lips and stared at Taehyung.

"But if you admit to what I said earlier, then I think it is quite reasonable that you hit her. You can save the apology."

He was determined to make Chaeyoung admit that the divorce was just another trick of hers to prove that he did not really get dumped.

Tzuyu stood behind Taehyung. Not being able to understand the conversation, Tzuyu panicked and ran to Taehyung. " Tae, she hit me! Are you really not going to do anything?"

Chaeyoung could hear her knuckles cracking as she stared at the pair in front of her.

 Taehyung was waiting. Waiting for her to admit to what he wanted to hear. And Chaeyoung knew that he was waiting, so she relaxed and apologized to Tzuyu, "I am sorry Miss Choi, I didn't mean to."

Taehyung's face changed.

Chaeyoung looked at him while smiling. The answer that he was waiting for did not exist. She was never going to admit that.

"Do you think apologizing can get you off the hook?" Tzuyu shouted while touching her own face.

Chaeyoung looked at Tzuyu and retorted, "Why don't you slap me back? The image of Mrs. Kim is worthless anyway. What say you, Mr. Kim?"

Chaeyoung finished her words with a smile. Her words were like a thorn in Taehyung's flesh.

Tzuyu was so furious that she might hit Chaeyoung anytime now.

"Do you think I dare not?" Tzuyu shouted, walking to where Chaeyoung was standing.

Chaeyoung did not hide or dodge, but looked at Taehyung with a smile.
