A bit about myself
Neurotic lawyer by day, neurotic writer by night, I've been writing for years and years and years. Of course, the first of those years didn't include decent grammar, but I've greatly improved since then, so here I am.
Coffee and cat enthusiast.
I started off on Wattpad in 2015. My story TMI (YA Mystery/Thriller involving an unreliable narrator, much stalking, and many dirty secrets) won a Watty in 2020 which is when I also became a Wattpad Star. My story Curtain Call has also been shortlisted in 2022. I'm currently in the first batch of creators in the Creators Program. Before Wattpad, my novel Hunters (now available on Wattpad) was published by a small press.
Wattpad reignited my love for writing, and after many (many) years, I've finally finished my love project, The Jewel Project Series. I've also started a fantasy romance series and have written 2 and a half prequels for the series (the third prequel is ongoing).
I write action/adventure/romance, YA/NA, Urban Fantasy, Paranormal Romance, Mystery/Thriller, Fantasy, and Humor.
I'm a grown-up (at least in body), not native English, live in Eastern Europe, and kill a lot of characters.
Favorites and randoms:
Except for writing, I love music. I'm fairly eclectic and listen to many genres. For a song to be great, it needs to have both the lyrics and rhythm. Most of the music I listen to goes into my stories' soundtrack. All my stories have huge soundtracks.
A few favorites are Within Temptation, Evanescence, Imagine Dragons, Matchbox 20, Daughtry, Smash Into Pieces and most recently Taylor Swift. I also love oldies (like Scorpions, Bon Jovi and Smokie) as well as the early Pop stuff (boybands, Britney Spears, that sort of stuff).
Favorite books include the Harry Potter series, historicals by Phillipa Gregory, Gone with the Wind, and, lately, the fantasy books by Brigid Kemmerer.
Fav movies include Inglorious Basterds, Shutter Island, The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, The Godfather, and Lord of the Rings.
Fav shows include House MD, Friends, The Boys, Reacher, and You.
I love visual arts which include drawing and book covers. I really wish I could draw or make graphics for myself, but, alas, I do not have the talent or the time to learn how to do it.

My mentoring style:
I've never mentored before, but I do tend to see the story based on what you're trying to get across. I like details, hints, and clues, and will follow your story through for pacing and character arc, and yell about anything I find does not serve the plot. I love characters, so I want them to shine and drive the story forward.
I also edit for clarity and am fairly critical because I tend to have high standards. I do hope that by the end of the program, you will know what you want to achieve with your story and make it the best (publish-ready) version it can be.
