MENTOR BIO
Hi there!
One of my best friends once described my life as the following: if an author was creating a side-character, and simply couldn't decide on anything. So they compiled a list of traits on a dartboard, and just set about throwing and hoping for the best.
I'll be honest with you - not much of an exaggeration.
To add context to that quote - I've nearly died seven times, once broke my back, hold (/have held) two Guinness World Records, I've been a practicing stand-up comedian for six years as of this most recent March, and spent a year living in Tanzania & Malawi.
In hindsight, throwing darts at a dartboard quite hammered would possibly be more accurate.
In terms of writing and reading, despite a mad life I've spent a good portion of it with my nose in a book... translate that to an embarrassing amount of my life in a book. Some absolute favourite books of mine include The Poppy War Trilogy by R.F. Kuang, Babel by R.F. Kuang and The Sandman by Neil Gaiman.
Wattpad has been a part of my life since 2016, though I had a couple of accounts here and there in the years before. I'm probably best known for Nomad, but I devote my profile to all things werewolf and fantasy. Books that reverse the tropes, boast diverse and strong characters and incredible worlds will always be my favourite, and I am so excited to join the mentorship programme and hopefully make some friends along the way.
