Well, howdy there! My name is Dani (he/they/them), and I'm your friendly neighborhood goth trans dude from the southern US. You can usually find me cooking, reading, decorating, gardening, or jamming out to metal or rap (I am a huge music enthusiast, I could talk for hours about my favorite artists). I can also do the same for video games and BOOKS!
I have a black cat and I live right next to a very old cemetery. I also have three kiddos who keep me on my toes. I can never have enough coffee. I have a secret soft spot for regency and monster romances. (Did I just say that? Yes, I did).
I write YA and adult stories. I'm pretty much a jack of all trades, master of none when it comes to what I write, but they all have one thing in common: romance. More specifically, paranormal romance or anything otherworldly. That includes some sci-fi romance on the side, too. I am a notorious pantser. I also used to be a Wattpad Ambassador, where I enjoyed working with my fellow Outreach team. As a type-A personality, this suited me well!
I've also been a reviewer and member of the Pretty in Punk book club.
I am a 2021 Watty's Shortlister, and a 2022 Watty's Winner, and a multiple-times-featured author for my book, WILLOW HILLS, a YA neurodiverse paranormal story with LGBT+ characters and a dash of romance.
In March 2023, Willow Hills launched in the paid stories program and on YONDER, the next-generation reading app from the Wattpad family. You can also find some of my more mature stories on Radish (and on Wattpad, too).
