Where the hell is she? It's been 10 minutes has she bailed or ran off? Benny mind rushed as he waiting in the cafe by himself. "Come on, Jennifer," he whispered to himself as he sat alone. He had places to be and people to meet, that was a lie actually. He just wanted another reason to be angry. He leant back on the seat resting his arms across his chest as he waited. If she's not here in 10 I'll go he told himself. He ran a hand through his hair as he died of boredom, he shut his eyes in frustration. He felt as though her manager was right, maybe she was selfish and was now bored of Benny. He felt like a fool. "Fucking hell Jennifer," he complained quietly

"Honestly, she's the worst isn't she?" A woman spoke. He looked up quickly and was met with big blue eyes.

"Jen?" his face softened as she sat down

"Yeah that Jennifer girl. She pisses me off too," she joked.

"So glad you understand," Benny spoke as he leant forward

"Oh, okay. It was funny 'n' now you've just gone 'n' hurt my feelings," she looked away from him with a hurt expression.

"You were 10 minutes late," he raised his eyebrows at her.

"I know, I-" she thought for a moment before locking eyes with Benny "I'm sorry, I've been so busy and-" she in fact hasn't been busy, well not busier than normal. She was actually dealing with a terrible hangover but she wasn't going to tell him that...

"It's fine, just... give me a heads up next time you know?"

"I will," she reassured "I promise,"

"Good. So this interview...."

"Oh don't get me started. I hate 'em. Always make fun of my accent," she complained

"I love interviews," Benny explained. This made a lot of sense to Jennifer.

"Really? Who could imagine Benny Watts likes to sit and talk about himself for everyone else to hear? Shocker," she spoke sarcastically

"Yeah, funny," he spoke dryly with a slight smile playing on his face "What radio are you on?"

"Oldies America, Americas Greatest, Everything Radio and GotRadio," she explained

"Shit, everywhere aren't you?" He spoke with a sense of surprise and shock in his voice

"Yep," she breathed. They ordered two smoothies for the two of them when Benny told Jennifer he's never had one. "I cannot believe that,"

"It's true, I've never," he shrugged

"You little freak, your gonna have one today,"

"Am I?"

"Yes," she finalised. "So, congratulations," she smiled after a slight second of silence

"What for?" Benny furrowed his eyebrows

"Your chess,"

"How do you know?" He asked as she dug into her little bag and pulled out a copy of Chess Review with his face on it "Isn't that a handsome man?" He smirked

"Shut up," she laughed as she opened the first page to the game.

"You read all the moves?"

"Every single one, I had a board out and was playing the game," she shrugged. Benny's cocky smile only grew "You could have won a lot faster you know. You see here," she leant forward pointing to the 46th move. "If you had moved you Rook there it would be check and then if Beth moved the king there or there it would've been mate," she explained. Benny went quiet playing it through in his head
