• Part. 24 • ~ "Gorgeous!" ~

I was able to watch three episodes when I feel Luca moving in his sleep. He starts mumbling something and I sit up. His eyes open and he sits up slowly.

"What the hell. Since when did you get here?" He asks in a deep sleepy voice

"A bit more than two hours!" I say bitting my lip.

Now that he sat up, I had a clear view of his fully toned chest. My jaw was practically on the floor.

"You should've woken me up, love!" He wraps his arms around my waist and lays back down pulling me down with him.

"I figured it was best to let you rest." I reply.

"Next time wake me up." He whispers softly. "What time is it?" He asks and I reach for my phone checking the time.

"10 p.m."

He taps my arm and I sit up, he does as well, and gets his phone from under his pillow.

"Are you hungry?" He asks kissing me.

"No, I already ate!" I say

Technically, I wasn't lying. The nachos were the only thing I've eaten in the past two days. At least I was trying. Luca stares at me for multiple seconds.

"Liar. Come on, let's go eat!" He says softly.

He gets up from the bed and walks around to my side. He extends his arm and I take it, rising up from his bed. He grabs his wallet and I grab my purse. We walk to the living room and his parents were there.

"We're going out!" Luca says

Oh, sure. Out where? Most likely to eat.

"Okay, drive carefully!" His mom says smiling at us.

"Stay in the city." His dad mumbles

"We're all working together now. We don't have to stay in the city anymore!" Luca replies dryly

"Fine, do whatever you want to fucking do. Mess shit up, like always." His dad says

"Lorenzo." His mom says glaring at her husband.

Luca scoffs at his father and he pulls me out of their house. He walks toward the red jeep next to motorcycle and I furrow my eyebrows. He has a new car almost every week.

I get in and he start it, to let it heat up since it was already cold in November. I put on my seatbelt and he does too.

"Where do you want to eat?" He asks

"Anywhere." I smile

We get to a small pizzeria near the suburbs. We had ordered a whole pizza to share. A classic pepperoni. I wanted something with pineapple but he hates pineapple on pizza so we settled for pepperoni.

Our food got to us and it was warm and perfect for the weather. Luca's phone vibrates and an unknown number is calling him. He looks up at me giving me a knowing look and I nod. He answers and places it on speaker but lowers it down a little so people around us won't hear.

"You're not that close to your Territory Lombardi. You should watch your back!"

"If you wanted to do something. You'd already do it. You're simply a pussy!" Luca curses.

Unknown laughs and then speaks. "I'm not afraid of you or your little girlfriend. I will kill her, I'm just waiting for the right time."

This time Luca laughs. "You're fucking naive if you think I'm going to let you hurt her."

"I don't care about your threats. She will die. We will kill her in front of everyone who loves her! Enjoy this time with her. She only has so long!"

And then they hang up. Luca looks up at me and gives me a reassuring look.

"I won't let anyone take you away from me!"

I give him a weak smile and wrap my arms around him. He hugs me back tightly.

"Can we take this to go? I don't want to fucking be here anymore!"

"Sure." I say

We get everything to go and he drives us back to his house. We go up to his room and he plays a movie while we eat. I couldn't eat much without feeling disgusted but he comforted me and didn't force me to eat more. We talked a lot and he mentioned to me how he's never ever been afraid of anything but lately it feels like everything is slipping away from his grasp and how he's scared of losing me. I promised him that I wasn't going anywhere and that no one would get me away from him. It was loving to know that I finally found someone who truly cared about me and saw me for the person I truly was and not the girl I portray for others to see.

God help me, I was in love with this boy, this angel. And I wasn't going to let anyone ruin this for me. He was mine to keep and I was his.
