Special Chapter 5

Zee's POV

I sigh , looking at my phone as Max walked into the room. He then leaned against the door , folding his arms , looking at me.

"Did you talk to him ?" He asked as I then leaned back.

"Yeah .." I answered softly.

"Is he okay ?" He asked and I sigh.

"He says he is .. but I know deep down he isn't .. he would still think that I would leave him ... he feels bad .." I said , rubbing my temple.

"And what about you ? Are you okay ?" He asked.

"I was a lil worried that you would be mad .." he said , walking to sit beside me.

"I am not even mad at this situation at all ... maybe I was a lil mad but I wasn't mad at Nhu ... I saw the comments on the post and I saw how some reacted to it , words hurt .. and I was so afraid of Nhu seeing them .. I became so worried just thinking about it ..." I said and he nod.

"Nhu just started his idol life ... and I want him to enjoy it as much as possible .. because this is his dream ... and I am so frustrated that I can't be with him when he's facing all of this alone ..." I said , biting my inner cheek.

"I just want him to be happy you know .." I said and he smile softly , squeezing my shoulder.

"Then .. what are you planning to do now ?" He asked as I then sigh , looking at the photo on my table. An idea then popped up in my head making me smile slightly.

"Why are you smiling all of a sudden ? You are scaring me .." said Max.

Nunew's POV.

I breathe hard , plopping down on the floor after rehearsals. I look up to the ceiling as sweat rolled down my forehead.

"Great job today na Kirin .. just work on those moves and you'll be fine .." said P'Bird as I nod. He pat my thigh as Nat then came towards me with a bottle of water in his hand. I sat up slowly as he hand me the bottle. I took a huge sip , heaving heavily.

"Great job na jelly~" said Nat as he ruffled my hair making me smile. After we packed up our things , we left the rehearsal room , heading back to our hotel.

I look at my phone , seeing no text messages from Zee. I sigh placing my phone down , looking out the window.

"You okay ?" Asked Nat as he squeezed my arm making me turn.

"Yeah , I am just .. tired .." I answered making him smile.

"Well it's a good thing that you have no schedule tomorrow .. at least you can rest before your big day .." said Nat as I smile softly , nodding. After we reached the hotel , I walked into my room , placing my bag on the table. I dragged my legs towards the bed , plopping down on it. I sigh as the exhaustion kicked in. I then took out my phone from my pocket , still seeing no messages but my lock-screen photo of me and Zee.

I pout , placing my phone down. I then turned to lay on my back , looking up to the ceiling.

"He's probably asleep .." I thought. I then grabbed my phone , sighing before closing my eyes.

- next day -

I look at my phone for the hundredth time as I ate my breakfast. I sigh , placing my phone down as I pout.

"You okay ?" Asked Nat as I look at him.

"Yeah I am fine .." I said.

"Are you sure ?" He asked , raising his eyebrow. I then sigh in defeat , putting my spoon down.

"Did Zee text you anything yesterday ?" I asked making him frown.

"Nope , why ?" He asked.

"He hasn't texted me back since yesterday ... and I am getting worried .." I said.

"Maybe he is asleep ?" Said Nat.

"He can't be asleep still .. he should be awake by now .." I said , pouting. My eyes widened as realisation struck me.

"What if .. he doesn't love me anymore due to what happened yesterday ?!" I asked , panicking making Nat chuckle.

"Nhu , relax , Zee is a understanding person .. I know he wouldn't just not text you back over something that isn't true .. and plus you already cleared that misunderstanding with him yesterday am I right ?" He asked as I then nod , sighing.

"Look , maybe he is busy .. you have to remember that your husband is the CEO of Kilen industry and also the founder of Gemini .." he said realistically.

"Yeah .. you are right .." I said , shaking all of those negative thoughts.

"How about this .. since it's your day off today before your big day tomorrow ... after breakfast , let's adventure around.. we haven't gotten the chance to feel like a tourist here .. and plus we are in Seoul , one of the most beautiful places in the world , we haven't gotten the chance to walk around ever since we came .." he said and I look at him , smiling.

After breakfast I got changed into a turtleneck shirt , pairing it along with a long coat since it was a little colder than before. Me and Nat decided to walked around the neighbourhood we are in.

One thing that I am grateful for is Nat. Him becoming my manager wasn't an easy thing for him. He had to stop his daily work at the cafe so that he could be my full time manager. Not only that , he also had to leave his own husband back at Thailand so that he could accompany me all over the world. Even though he missed being back at home with his lover , he would still try to make me smile. This is why he is my best friend , my jelly.

After almost a whole day of walking , we decided to visit the cherry blossom trees. Nat held my arm as we walked.

"Wah~ so beautiful~" cooed Nat in awe as we walked under the cherry blossoms. I smile , looking at the beautiful pink flowers.

"Look there's a seat .." pointed Nat as we walked towards a bench. We both sat down as I sigh , breathing in the fresh , cold air.

"This is great .." said Nat as I look at him. I then placed my hand on his shoulder making him turn.

"Thank you na .. for taking care of me the whole entire time .." I said making him smile.

"I am your manager and also your best friend for a reason .." he said making me giggle. He then opened his arm making me hugged him tightly. I close my eyes as he rubbed my back.

"Don't think too much na~ just enjoy life as it is~ you have me and Max .. you have your husband , Zee .. you have your fans too~ we all love you .. and you know that~" he said making me nod , smiling.

I am curious , do you all have a best friend like Nat ? Who would do anything for you , make sure you're happy , eating well and of course would go through the highs and lows together with you. Because I do ! ❤️ I hope that you all have someone who you can talk to whenever you feel low or at your worst ! Even if you don't have one , you can always find something that makes you happy , like for me , writing makes me happy.
