Nunew's POV.

Zee walked towards us as I gulped my saliva.

"I've been waiting for quite a while .." said Zee as he looked at me. I then turned to Noah who was looking at Zee.

"Oh and who is this ?" Asked Zee.

"U-Uh .. Zee .. this is um .. Noah .." I said awkwardly.

"Noah .. this is Zee .. a friend of mine .." I said as Zee pulled his hand out. Noah then hesitantly shaked his hand.

"Nice to meet you , I am Zee , Nhu's close friend .." said Zee making me sigh. Soon tension filled the air. I quickly grabbed Zee's wrist , pulling his hand away.

"Okay , me and Zee gotta go , right ?" I asked looking at Zee. I glare at him , shaking my head.

"Uh Noah , I'll see you around .." I said , forcing a smile. I quickly push Zee towards the car , turning back to Noah who was standing there. I waved as Zee entered the car. I did the same , closing the door. Zee soon drove off as I look out the window , waving at Noah.

After a while , I fold my arms , turning to Zee as I glare at him.

"What the hell were you thinking ?!" I asked.

"What ?" He asked back.

"Didn't I say not to come out of the car ?!" I asked.

"You were taking so long so I wanted to check on you !" He replied. I chuckled in disbelief , rubbing my temple.

"And plus , who was that ? Is he boyfriend ?" He asked.

"What ?! Noah is not my boyfriend. He is my childhood friend , we've been friends since we were four .." I said.

"I bet he likes you." He said making me look at him shock.

"Noah doesn't like me. He already likes someone else." I said , looking out the window. Soon silence filled up the car.

"Why don't you want people to know about us ?" He asked all a sudden.

"Because we are not a real couple .. remember .. we are a 'couple' base on a deal , a contract." I said.

"It's best if we just keep our 'engagement' a secret to avoid any misunderstandings and confusion .." I continue.

"Is that okay ?" I asked , looking at him.

"It's the right thing to do .." he said and I smile , nodding.

"Well , where are we going for dinner ?" He asked.

"Oh I know a place !" I said , keying in the address. He frown in confusion , looking at me.

"Come on , drive .." I said as he then followed the gps.

After a while , we pulled up to the restaurant. I got out excitedly as Zee did the same. He looked at the place and then looked at me.

"Really ? McDonalds ?" He asked.

"What ? You said I could pick the place ... and I am craving for a burger .." I said.

"I am on a diet .." he said making me roll my eyes.

"You are already too skinny .. come on~" I whine , grabbing his arm as I dragged him into the place.

"So what do you want ?" I asked as we looked at the menu.

"I have no idea .. it's been so long since I ate at McDonalds .." he answered making me frown.

"When was the last time you ate fast food ?" I asked.

"I was a kid when I last ate a actual burger .." he answered making my eyes widened.

"That long ?!" I exclaimed making him nod.

"Okay , why don't you find a seat and I'll order .." I suggested making him raise an eyebrow.

"I'll handle everything , gogo .." I said as he slowly looked for a empty seat.

After I got our food , I walked to our table as Zee watched me place the food on the table. I sigh happily , sitting across him as he look at all the food on the table.

"Here .." I said placing a burger in front of him. He then looked at me and I nod.

"What ? I didn't put any poison in it , don't worry." I teased making him roll his eyes. I then grabbed my burger as we both took a bite at the same time. I sigh happily as the flavors melt in my mouth. I look at Zee as he had a frown on his face as he chew his burger.

"So how is it ?" I asked.

"It's ..delicious .." he answered , smiling softly. I chuckled , watching him eat.

"I don't get it , how can you resist eating this type of food ?" I asked.

"I guess my father taught me well .." he answered.

"Your father ?" I asked and he nod.

"My father is a type of person who loves perfection .. and since I am the only son they have .. he wants me to be perfect .." He said making me frown.

"Aow .. but aren't you a human ? You can't always be perfect .. you know that right ?" I said making him chuckle.

"If I can't be perfect , I have to try to be perfect .. right ?" He asked.

"Ever since I was young , my dad has trained me to be perfect .. if it meant by eating his type of food .. and not this type of food .." he said.

"You must have had tough childhood .." I said softly as he then looked at me.

"But guess what , that tough childhood made who I am today .." he said.

"Zee .." I called making him hum.

"What did you want to become when you were young ?" I asked curiously.

"I um .. I actually wanted to open up a café .." he said , smiling to himself.

"What happened to that ?" I asked.

"It didn't work out .. but hey .. now I am a CEO of a company .. life's great for me .." he said smiling slightly.

"Then are you happy ?" I asked as he looked at me , taken aback with my question. He cleared his throat , chuckling.

"What's up with all of this question huh ?" He asked , avoiding my question.

"Let's just eat .." he said as he continued to eat his burger. I look at him , sighing softly. After today , I didn't know Zee had this side of him. He always seemed cold and tough. A workaholic who rarely smile. However , a burger could actually make him smile. I didn't realize that he too had a tough childhood , just like me. I frown , looking down to my burger.

"Are you not going to eat ?" He asked as I look at him.

"Yeah , I'm eating .." I said as I took a bite of my burger. He chuckled , continued to eat his. I watch him eat his burger and sigh.

"What more are you hiding Zee ?" I thought. I then frown at my own thought.

"Aow why do I care ? Me and Zee are just .. friends .." I thought as I look at Zee.

"But ... Zee .. is just miserable as I am ..." I thought , sighing as I ate.
