9.9. FLASHBACK: The Next Day Morning: Sakura High School: Front Gate (♫)

Iori: *Yawns...*
Iori yawns.

It was only 8:10AM.
She is just a few feet away from school grounds.
Yet, there were no students flooding in just yet.

Iori: "Hehe..."
Iori: "It's only 8:10 AM."
Yes, she had woken up early to come to school.
Iori felt as if she could applaud herself about making to school early today.

Iori: "Behold!"
Iori: "Iori Fuyusaka, genuine morning person!"
Iori: "It's not so bad if I put my mind into it."

Iori starts walking to the school gate in a happy mood.
As she was walking to the front gate, she looked up.
On top of the front gates porch, there was a cat sleeping there.

Iori: "Oh!"
Iori: "Kitty!"
Iori: "Early cat gets the mouse, huh?"

Iori comes closer to the cat and examines it.
Iori: "Aww, he's sleeping..."

???: "Iori!"
???: "Good morning!"
She whispers to Iori, noticing the sleeping cat.
Y/n moves to Iori's left side, being careful not to wake up the cat in a sudden.

Iori: "Y/n-chan!"
Iori: "Good morning!"
Iori: "You're not with Kurabe-kun this morning?"
Iori whispers.

Y/n: "Well, I wanted to walk to school alone just once."
y/n: "And here I am!"
Y/n: "Never I had thought I would also catch a sleeping cat as soon as I make it here~"
Y/n: "It's like luck has been bestowed to us."
Y/n whispers back.

Iori: "I hope it continues as long as we're here."

Speaking of him...
Juro: 'Ah, there she is.'
Juro: "Good morning, Fuyusaka-san, Y/n-san."

Y/n: "Ah!"
Iori: "Ah!"

Y/n: "Shh!"

Iori: "Quiet!"

Juro moves closer to Y/n's side to examine the cat, being on the right side.

Juro: "Looks like a stray I've seen by my house."

Iori: "Do you... still have those dreams?"

Juro: "Yeah, sometimes."

The two turn around, revealing...

Iori: "Usami-chan!

Y/n: "Usami."
Y/n: 'And Yakushiji.'
To whom was standing on the other side of the front gate.
Iori and Y/n walk together towards Tomi, staying in their spots nor leaving each other's side.

Iori: "Good morning."

Y/n: "Good morning, Usami."

Tomi: "What were you three up to over there?"

Iori: "Oh, um..."

Y/n: "Just looking at that cat over there, that's all."
Y/n smiles at Tomi.

Tomi: "Uh-huh."

Then, Juro walks to Y/n's side.
Juro: "Hey Y/n-san, Fuyusaka-san, can we talk a little more?"

Y/n: "Of course."

Iori: "O-Okay."

Within Y/n's side glance, she sees Yakushiji take off with a sad look on her face.
Y/n could not help but to stay silent.

Tomi: "Megumi...?"
Tomi: "Oh..."
Tomi runs after Yakushiji, leaving the three behind at the front gate.

Juro: "A UFO, huh..."
Juro: "What happened in the dream?"

Iori: "Well..."
