Are some dreams meant to become our reality?
Or they were meant to stay as dreams?
Who knows if these are my memories?
Who knows if this is just a dream never meant to take seriously...
I've been having these weird dreams about my classmates and I.
We were in these weird robots and fighting back these monsters that were destroying our city.
Our city that looks modern now.
In my dream, it looked way more outdated than it used to.
More like when it was in the 1980s...

It's all so weird...
Especially with this specific dream of mine about this person that looked like Y/n...

The girl opens her eyes, she wakes up to a bright room.
It seemed to be of a lab of some sorts.
She didn't know where she was at, nor she cared.
She saw her friend, more like one of her close friends from the past.
He was still alive.
L/n was happy to see her old friend once again.
Although her appearance kind of scares her.

L/n: "I-Ida..."

Ida: "L/n-san, you're awake...!"
Ida:  "Thank goodness..."

L/n: "What- what... happened to me...?"

Tamao: "I can't input my access code."
Tamao: "Ida-san, I need your help for this..."

Ida: "Okay, one moment L/n-san."

Ida: "I'm sorry that your sister has to be in this form, but you will have to make do with it."
Ida:  "You got knocked out badly by an attack from the Deimos."

Her sister was in this form?
What does that even mean?
How did it come to this in the first place?
What is this body she's in?

L/n: 'I see... I...'

Tamao: "L/n-san, do you remember?"
Tamao: The last time I talked to you was when my grandson took you out for that short date? And I let you have approval of moving in?"

L/n: "Yes, I remember clearly as daytime."
L/n:  "It was short, but I was still satisfied with it."
L/n: "After all, the battle right after that..."

Ida: "..."

Tamao: "Would you mind explaining what happened after the fight?"

L/n: "..."
L/n: "It was complete dominance."
L/n: "We were defenseless against them..."
L/n: "All I remember before I was force-ejected from my cockpit, Number 13th Sentinel pilot... he was able to block an attack from a Gladiator for me."

Tamao: "But isn't the Gladiator a 1st Generation Sentinel?"

Ida: "Number 13 is the Sentinels's 2nd generation and it weighs more, so there shouldn't have been a problem with battling at that point."
Ida: "But L/n has a 4th Generation Sentinel and it weights a quarter than the 3rd Generation Sentinel."
Ida: "Way more less if we compare the 4th Generations and the 2nd generations together."
Ida: "If anything, we're grateful that the 24th Sentinel hadn't gotten crushed in that incident."

L/n: "Some virus took over our Sentinels, rendering all pilots useless from the Kaiju attacks."
L/n: "That's why Chihiro activated the phases."
L/n: "Phases that increases our durability and defense lines, we needed three to four pilots to make it happen."
L/n: "From then, the phases were fully activated. We were able to block a few, but eventually... it wasn't enough."
L/n: "Our formation..."
L/n:  "Each phase all broken down like fragile glass."
L/n: "Most to every Sentinel either got scathed or didn't last."
L/n: "Like the 3rd and 4th generations that was taken out in one fell swoop."
L/n: "Except for mine that was perfectly fine."

Ida: "That explains how he, the 13th Sentinel pilot had fallen."
Ida: "This mysterious virus took over your defenses, activated the phases that were soon to become easily broken, and thats how you all were completely toppled by the Kaiju."

L/n: "...Eventually, his defense fell apart, so hence his Sentinel now that is beyond repairing... Who knows if it's useful to use the Sentinels at this point..."
L/n: "I don't know if he ejected himself in time, or if he might fell down with it..."

Tamao: "Don't blame yourself, Y/n-san."
Tamao: "I know you harbored your love for him more than anything."
Tamao: "I could see it every time you were together."
Tamao: "Even until now, I accept you fully to take care of my grandson, that's all I wanted."
Tamao: "We could've been one big family if only this battle didn't exist..."

(Y/n): "Tamao... I would never forget about him."
(Y/n): "He was the one to make me feel as happy as he made himself."
(Y/n): "I loved him so much."
(Y/n): "So much that I could break."
(Y/n): "And I still do."

Ida: "L/n-san..."

(Y/n): "If he was here, he would probably feel and say the same too."

Come to think of it, I may or have not seen another Y/n walking on the opposite side of Sakura High School.

Her uniform was from Kuku High School.
And she seemed to have a half updo ponytail with a red bow.
And somehow, she looked exactly like the girl in my dreams.

Who is she?

Is she the one in my dreams?
Is Y/n the one in my dreams?

Is she perhaps...
Her sister?
Or A Y/n doppelgänger?

Hm...
I might have to ask Y/n-san of this tomorrow.
