[In The Murasawa Household: In The Guest Room]

Juro:  *Gasp!*

Huff...
Huff...
Puff...

Huff...
Puff...
Puff...

Juro:  "Hah..." He horribly sweats.

Juro stares hard on the bed covers that were now camouflaged in the dark, grabbing onto the sheets.

He just woke up from his dream.
No, it was a nightmare.
Sure he had tons of nightmares.
Yes, some were scary.

Not this one.
This one... was terrifying.
Possibly the most terrifying one he's experienced.
It didn't feel like any nightmare.
It was as if he was experiencing a tragic realism within a dream.
This one felt more real than any dreams he's had before all this.

Juro:  "What... what was that...?"
He deeply sighed.

It was a dream where he was in this machine fighting these mech-like monsters.
It was at this time where they were already invading the Ashibata Ward.

He can't remember now, but he remembers he was acting as if he was a monster within it.
He could remember he was yelling out someone's name and the promise he made with this significant other.

But the issue was when he was fighting these monsters...
All he saw was a red flash of light.

Before he knew it, a white light along with a memory of 'her' flashed before his eyes.
This is what caused Juro to immediately wake up from his sleep.

Yes...
this feeling...
Scared.
Frightened.
Horrified.
Did he... die in that dream?

Luckily, Shiba was deeply asleep.
He wouldn't have to be worried nor see Juro's expression.
It still frighten him a lot.
That he actually experienced death.

In his dream no less...

Although he doesn't know that it was actually a real event that happened.
Even worse, he felt he wanted to throw up.
Because he kept his ground, he was able to breathe normally for a while.

Juro frowns, shakes his head to forget the memory, and firmly holds his cheeks together.

Juro:  "Everything is fine, it will be okay... now I need to go back to sleep, we have school tomorrow..."

Juro layed back down, counted sheeps, and eventually was able to fall into a deep slumber until the next day.
