Chapter 12: Meeting a friend and TRYING to reverse Michi's curse

- Aidan's Prov
I woke up on an UNIMAGINABLY comfortable bed, I sat up and noticed a pair of clothes on the dresser? I got up and stretched and actually cracked my back which actually really needed to be cracked, I then walked up to the pair of clothes, I then started putting them on

I looked at myself in a body mirror and thought... I look good in this, I like it, I looked at the bedside table and saw my wand set there, I went and picked it up and put it in my left sleeve then opened the bedroom door and looked down the hall, then climbed down a set of stairs and found a big table and saw Aphmau talking to Nicole finishing explaining everything to her about what happened "Aidan! Good morning" Aphmau said noticing me "Good morning Lady Aphmau" I replied climbing down the stairs "Aidan, let me properly introduce you to my good friend Nicole, she's the Lord of Scaleswind" Aphmau explained, I looked to Nicole "It's an honour to be in your presence Lord Nicole" I told her bowing to her out of respect "There's no need to bow, and there's no need to be so formal around me, any friend of Aphmau's is a friend of mine" she clarified, which caused me to blush a tiny bit out of embarrassment "O-oh! Sorry" I told her and sat down "It's okay" she replied "So Aphmau here tells me you're a wizard from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?" Nicole asked, I nodded "Aphmau says you're her personal Grand Wizard? congratulations Aidan" she told me "Thanks, but I'm not actually a true wizard yet, I was expelled from Hogwarts a few months ago" I told her "I heard from Sean that he's your best friend and he actually taught you a type of Curse?" Nicole asked "Wait, Sean's here??" I asked shocked and she nodded "His family is a good friend of mine and he's my personal Grand Wizard" she said, SEAN'S THE GRAND WIZARD OF SCALESWIND?! "Sense when?! Sean never mentioned that!" I exclaimed shocked but happy for my best friend "Since after you were expelled" she said proudly "He knows you're innocent and he said if he ever sees you again, he'll gladly teach you more on what you missed" she said happily, I appreciate that, but I have my aunt to train me now "Thanks, I appreciate that, I'm absolutely going to see him, but I'm sorry, my aunt is going to be teaching me magic" I told her and Nicole called for a maiden to get me breakfast which she didn't need to but she insisted, the maiden then set a plate of eggs and toast in front of me and poured me a cup of milk "Thank you" I said smiling at the maiden and she smiled back "You're quite welcome sweet boy" she said smiling and she suddenly snuck in a little cupcake next to my plate, huh, she's kind, I like her, I then started eating a bit "So Aidan, Aphmau told me about... what happened to you growing up and what happened to your parents.." Nicole started and I immediately stopped eating and swallowed the bit of eggs in my mouth "Yes?" I asked looking at her "I'm so sorry for what you had to go through... no one should ever go through something so horrible... just know you will always have a place here at Scaleswind if you ever need a place to stay" Nicole told me and as I was taking a sip of the milk, I nearly spat it out from shock and set the cup down and nearly choked on the milk in my mouth, I managed to swallow it and started coughing a bit while using my arm to cover my mouth "S-sorry!" I managed to say while still coughing from not swallowing right, "Anapneo!" I heard my aunt exclaim and suddenly my throat wasn't itchy anymore? I turned in my chair and saw my aunt at the top of the stairs pointing her wand at me, then she stuffed it in the waistband of her dress skirt in new clothes and came downstairs "Thanks Aunt Rebecca" I thanked her "Maybe you should take small sips for now" she suggested and kissed the top of my head, which made me blush a bit "Aunt Rebecca.." I groaned in embarrassment which Aphmau and Nicole started giggling at the apparent cuteness "What spell was that anyway?" I asked as Aunt Rebecca sat down and had her breakfast placed in front of her "It's called The Clear-Airway Charm, it's a Healing Spell used to clear the airway of a person's throat if they're choking" she explained as Aphmau and Nicole continued talking while I continued eating, then after breakfast, I asked Nicole where Sean is, she said he's in his quarters here in this big house, so Nicole called someone named Dmitri? I then saw a little boy with blue hair in a robe come running "Yeah Mom?" the boy asked Nicole, wait... Mom?? I looked shocked at Nicole "You have a son??" I asked Nicole and she smiled "Yep! Aidan, meet my son Dmitri, Dmitri, say hi to Aidan" Nicole said "Hello sir" he greeted "Hey bud, can you show me to Sean's please? He's my best friend" I asked and he nodded and guided me to Sean "Here is the quarters for our Grand Wizard, he's a little bit busy at the moment" he said "Thanks Dmitri" I thanked him and playfully ruffled his hair which he groaned "Judging by your personality and your appearance, I'd say you could make a good guard" I told him encouragingly and he actually thought it was a really good idea, he then ran to his mother, I then knocked on the door "Not now! I'm very busy! I don't want any merchants, Daily Prophet articles, or anything to distract me!" I heard my best friend yell on his end, I smiled "And what about old friends from school?!" I called on my end, I suddenly heard someone coming and hastily opened the door and I saw a very familiar face that had me smile brightly at my best friend "A-Aidan??" Sean asked and I smiled brightly "Sean! It's so good to see you again old friend!" I laughed and hugged him which he gladly hugged back while laughing with me "Aidan! What a pleasant surprise! It's so good to see you again too! How have you been?! Come in!" Sean exclaimed and let me in, I entered and smiled "It's been months since we saw each other" I told him while smiling "It has! I heard about your expulsion! that was so unfair, you had no right to be unfairly treated" Sean defended me as he closed the door and went to his books "I know! But I managed" I told him while looking around "I heard about what happened in New Metili, you were there weren't you?" Sean asked curiously, I nodded "Somehow those Shadow Souls are immune to some spells we learned at school" I told him "Shadow Souls?" Sean asked "That's what those shadowy creatures are called, they're what come out of the Nether Portal first and apparently they're the ghosts of fallen Shadow Knights that they can possess people to get a body of their own again, from what Laurance has told me" I explained "So that explains why I felt so much rage from them" Sean mumbled "You're a Legilimens too?" I asked shocked "No, but I felt it try to take over my body, I was lucky our Potions Master at Hogwarts taught me Occlumency so I could resist it" he told me, I then had an idea "Can you teach me Occlumency please? My Aunt Rebecca tried teaching me how but I can't get it right, I don't understand what exactly do I do" I explained "Oh, that's the difficult part, you don't focus on keeping your mind empty, you have to say "No, you won't see that, you will not see that, I will not let you see that, get out of my head" but in your mind, you say that by thinking it" Sean explained better "That's all??" I asked shocked and he nodded, why did I not think of that?! jeez I'm an idiot, whatever "Now" Sean started then looked right at me in the eyes "Who Cursed you into becoming a Meif'wa?" Sean asked in a serious tone, I then explained everything to him "So a Meif'wa from Tu'la put a curse on you.." he said "Then tried selling you to The South-Eastern Wolf Tribe but you escaped?" Sean asked and I nodded, then pushed a chair to me "Sit down" he told me "Why?" I asked "I'm going to try performing a Counter-Curse to reverse what happened" Sean told me, oh yeah, he's 2 years older than me, he already knows human Transfiguration way before me! he must know a Counter-Curse! I sat down in the chair eagerly "Please change me back, I cannot stand these ears and this tail" I told him eagerly and he chuckled, he then pointed his wand at me "Let's try a General Counter-Curse" he told me and I nodded, he then raised his wand "Finite Incantatem!" Sean exclaimed flicking his wand at me, then a red jet of light shot out of his wand and hit me right in the face, we then waited a moment and I felt my head and tailbone but..... it didn't work?! I looked at Sean concerned "Hmm.... Must be a different kind of Curse" he said then raised his wand again "Reparifarge!" Sean exclaimed and flicked his wand at me then a white jet of light erupted out of his wand and hit me right in the chest, I then started feeling a strange feeling but only a moment "I felt something" I told him "Then it must have worked for a moment" he suggested, he then proceeded to use multiple kinds of Counter-Curses to reverse the Curse on me but nothing worked?! I looked at Sean hoping he knows something "Sean, please tell me you can undo what Michi did" I pleaded "...." He didn't respond "Sean?!" I exclaimed "I'm sorry Aidan... but I can't seem to counter the Curse on you, it seems like it's a very powerful Curse, I can't counter it, I'm sorry.." Sean sighed, I was shocked my best friend can't help me... I sighed "It's okay Sean" I replied "I greatly appreciate you trying to help, maybe I can find a Curse Breaker to get a remedy for this?" I suggested and he agreed since he's not exactly a Curse Breaker but he's good at Counter-Curses but he somehow can't counter this one, The Transfiguration Counter Spell must have worked for a moment, but it probably wasn't strong enough? I got up and looked at sean "Do you think I could.... Create a spell of my own?" I asked and he stopped in his tracks, he then slowly turned to me "Aidan, creating a spell can be VERY dangerous, if you don't use all of the safety precautions, it CAN result in killing you" he told me, I was shocked at what he said but he taught me all the safety precautions I needed in order to create a spell of my own and told me I need an incantation that has a meaning otherwise the spell won't do what I want it to, so I thanked him for teaching me, he then went to his bookshelf "I have a gift for you" he told me, then pulled out a book "I know it's been your ambition to become an Apprentice Wandmaker, so I got you this" he said handing me the book, I took it and opened it and saw everything on wood? cores?? Wands?! I looked shocked at Sean "This is a book all about Wandlore! And how to craft a wand of your own with instructions?!" I exclaimed shocked, he smiled "I asked Mr. Ollivander for help with Wandlore and he made me a Wandmaker after 2 years of training under him, so I just wrote down everything he said and wrote every detail I could on how to craft a wand, this is my old journal but I want you to have it" he told me, I smiled brightly "I promise I'll take good care of it" I told him then I pulled out my wand and tapped the leather journal with my wand and placed a Flame-Freezing Charm on it as well as an Impervious Charm on it to make it both entirely immune to fire and water, but right after that, a guard came?? "GRAND WIZARD SEAN! COME QUICKLY! OUTSIDE OUR GATES! THOSE MONSTERS ARE BACK AND IN GREATER NUMBERS!" the guard yelled "WHAT?!" Sean yelled, I set the book down and drew my wand and we both ran out of the room and the guard already informed Nicole and Aphmau, I guess Katelyn and Laurance are awake but suddenly the stranger with the red bandana is here too??? AND Aphmau's puppy Celestia???? Sean and I came running to the others and to my shock, an ARMY of Shadow Souls were here?! "THIS IS BAD! THERE ARE TOO MANY OF THEM!" Nicole yelled "HOW OFTEN HAS THIS BEEN HAPPENING?!" Katelyn yelled shocked "ENOUGH TO MAKE THEM THIS MAD APPARENTLY!" Nicole yelled back "MY PEOPLE ARE OUT THERE!" A man with purple hair, yellow eyes and a black cat tail and black cat ears, he looks like a male version of Michi?? I walked up to him "Who are you??" I asked "My name is Mikai" he introduced "Are you by any chance related to a Meif'wa named Michi?" I asked and he was shocked I know Michi as well, turns out he's her brother?? but he's nothing like her, so I trust him but... his people from Tu'la are out the gate?! "Aphmau what happened?!" I yelled shocked, she then quickly explained how her powers BROUGHT BACK A BOY FROM THE DEAD?!? THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!! I stared shocked at Aphmau that her powers can do THAT but now's not the time! "Nicole... let me handle this..." Laurance told Nicole, Aphmau started to object "If you go out there, let me go with you" Aphmau told him "Then let's go" he said "I'm coming to" I said "No you're not" Aphmau told me "Oh yes I am, I'm one of the best duelists back in Hogwarts, I was the 3 year Dueling Grand Champion back at Hogwarts" I told them "He really was, nobody in the school, especially 7th years could stand a chance against him" Sean pointed out so Aphmau reluctantly agreed, "Nicole, give me a sword" Aphmau told Nicole, she then got her a sword as I held my wand at the ready, the gate opened then Aphmau, Laurance and I ran out as Laurance morphed into his Shadow Knight form again, I pointed my wand at one "Stupefy!" I exclaimed and hit it with a Stunner, I then pointed my wand at another "Stupefy!" I exclaimed and hit the other with another Stunning Charm, I then pointed my wand at the one behind Aphmau "Incendio!" I yelled flicking my wand at it and an orange fireball bursted out of my wand and set the Shadow Soul on fire which REALLY had an effect on it but only for a moment but then suddenly Laurance stared at a Shadow Soul? "Laurance? Laurance what's wrong?" Aphmau asked as I was sending an Immobilizing Charm at a Shadow Soul but backed into Aphmau and saw.... Laurance turned around with huge glowing red eyes?! "Laurance! Laurance stop!" Aphmau exclaimed "STUPEFY!" I screamed flicking my wand at Laurance and he stumbled backwards from my Stunning Charm but got back up??? I stared shocked at him "Laurance snap out of it!" I yelled but he got back up and was about to strike?! "Protego!" I exclaimed and conjured up a Shield Charm

but the second Laurance's sword slammed onto my shield it shattered?!? "AH!" I yelped and fell backwards right at Aphmau's feet "UGH!" I grunted landing painfully on my back as Aphmau kneeled to help me up but then the stranger with the bandana ran in front of us and slashed Laurance and made Laurance fall to the ground unconscious???? "No... th-this can't be..." Aphmau started as she helped me up from the ground and I brushed the gravel off me, what in the fresh Hell just happened?! Laurance attacked us????? Okay there has to be an explanation for this.
