Valentina woke up to a message left by her parents that they would be going out together for the whole day, so they left some food in the fridge for her. They wrote they would only come home quite late as they were planning on going to some fancy restaurant, so she would be alone all day. It didn't bother her at all, she slept in and upon finding the message, made herself some breakfast and watched F.R.I.E.N.D.S. on TV for a couple of hours.

After all the episodes for the day went down, she didn't really know what to do with herself, so still sprawled out on the couch, she took her phone into her hands. Odette was out hiking with her family, and Ray was golfing with his father's family so that only left Luca. She texted him on a whim, asking him whether he wanted to come over as she was insanely bored and had nothing to do for the whole day all alone.

He didn't respond for a while, making her think that was it, and he was busy with something as well when her phone buzzed on the coffee table. She barely heard it over the loud TV, which began playing an older episode of Big Bang Theory. Her eyes were glued to the screen for a few seconds, then with a groan, she sat up to get her phone. She was feeling very lazy.

I can come over.

But why so suddenly?

My parents went out. I'll be alone till the evening.

Oh.

And what do you plan on doing?

Even though it was only a text message, Valentina couldn't help but read more into it, practically feeling the suggestive tone he intended to use. Maybe he didn't, but she liked to remain delusional.

Anything, really.

Just help me get rid of my boredom, please.

I've always wanted to see your room anyway.

Valentina blushed involuntarily, dropping her phone back on the table again. She covered her face, taking a deep breath. But then she realized that her room was a mess and there was no way Luca could see it in that state. Jumping to her feet, she checked the last message from Luca in which he stated he would be there in an hour, then ran to the bathroom to get the cleaning supplies.

She put away all her scattered clothes, then dusted off all the furniture before vacuuming as best as she could. She made her bed, even taking out the pillows she only bought for aesthetics back in the day, and then made sure that the plant she got from Luca was unnoticeable and noticeable at the same time. If that made sense.

When she was done, she stepped up to her closet, getting out a tight-fitted pastel blue t-shirt that was a bit cropped, along with some yoga pants as she absolutely refused to wear anything less comfy at home. She also pulled some fluffy socks onto her feet that matched her t-shirt and combed her hair until there were no knots in it. She threw it up in a messy bun, leaving her curtain bangs out and about, then examined herself in the mirror.

After making sure nothing embarrassing was on display, Valentina went to get her phone when the doorbell rang. She went to let him in, opening the front door with a quick breath. Her chest tightened from nervousness as she waited for him. She pondered what he would think of her room, but then she couldn't help but wonder what they would be doing in there...

"Hey, love," Luca greeted her, pulling her out of her thoughts. Merely the nickname caused her heart to speed uncomfortably, but the gorgeous smile he wore only made the case worse.

"Hi," She swore her voice wasn't that high before. "How are you?"

"Definitely better now that I got to see you," He grinned.
