This chapter will not include very much story, and, instead will describe the skill, and purpose of both ship's ground assets. Any and all pictures in this chapter I do not own, and found on the web. All of these are based off of something in 40k or Halo cannon, just modified, or changed, by me, except for the MERTs, those are mine, just not the picture.

Imperial Marines/IMC (imperial marine corps)
The backbone of the Imperiums offensive forces, the Imperial marine corps are balanced in every aspect.
+Decent at everything +Skilled in counter Insurgency operations +skilled in ship-to-ship boarding actions and engagements. +skilled in Urban (within city) combat -poor aptitude for sieges -enjoy frequent usage of grenades, resulting in a reliance on supply lines +very well protected -equipment is difficult to maintain for non-marines -dislike being called soldiers, leading to fights in the mess hall. +highly adaptable fighters.
they have a long and bloody history, and in previous crusades had the honor of being the first to reclaim territory lost to the Darkness, along with the Adeptus Astartes. They are some of the few that have earned the Adeptus Astartes respect, as a result of their Fanatical and Zealous conviction to smite the Imperium's enemies, and they often do it in the same manner as the Astartes, though less effectively, as they are not super-soldiers, also, they hate being called soldiers and prefer "Marines", they accept being called warriors though.
