A month later

It's been about a month since I last spoke to Amira. She don't bother me anymore. Me and Evie have gotten closer , we're almost inseparable at this point. I swear this girl is at my house everyday. She been going to her meetings consistently  and she even  got her one month
sobriety chip .   That first week was rough for her through, watching her go through withdraws where she was in so much pain was scary.  She was literally begging for some kind of relief and she was in the hospital the first few days because she had to be medically detoxed. I was there the whole time though and I guess me being there made it better for her.

She still experiences violent outburst mostly against me , and depressive moods but I don't she don't mean it.

She been with me an entire two weeks , Scott and Liv come check on her but her dad is a different story. After  Scott told him about the situation with the stash , he refused to believe still. Liv and Scott aren't home now anyway, they went on their anniversary trip a few days ago and won't be back until next week.

Silas - I gotta take you home today.

Evie - you don't have to

Silas - your dad is probably worried about you

Evie - no doubt.

She looked at me.

We still haven't discussed our kiss that happened a month ago.  I've been thinking about it , since the day it happened.

Silas -  I need to ask you something

Evie - okay

Silas - that kiss we shared a month ago-

Evie - yeah.

Silas -  did you do that  because you were high?

Evie - no, I was just curious

Evie - kissing you. My bad if it was a bit forward . I'm sorry if I made y-

I kissed her, feeling her body relax against mine.

I pulled away.

Silas - I couldn't stop thinking about you and that kiss since it happened.

Evie - Si, I hope you aren't wanting more, I just wanna focus on my recovery right now.

Silas - Nah I understand. I wouldn't want to get in the way. That comes first.

Evie -  I'm still down to kiss and  do stuff

He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead.  I really like him but I feel if we date and break up, I might go  back into old habits and I wanna be better.

Silas - what you mean do stuff? Have sex?

Evie - you don't want to?

Silas - I do, but you seem nervous

Evie -   I used to have sex for drugs and but I don't remember what happened because I wasn't sober.  I would just lay down and space out
