Silas held my hand as we walked around the fair grounds. My dad is letting me stay out until 1 AM as an incentive for going to two meetings now and Silas still goes to the meetings with me.
Silas - Evie I'm going to the bathroom.
Evie - alright. I'm gonna go get something to eat
He nodded and walked off.
I saw Amira.
She looked at me and walked over.
Evie - please don't start.
Amira - I just wanna know what he sees in you.
Evie - I don't either and it's not like it's competition. We're friends. He's all yours if you want him Amira.
Amira - there is something more when he looks at you
Evie - I don't see it so you can have him.
I walked off.
I saw Zel sitting in the concession stand on his phone.
Zel - lil Scotty come here
I walked over.
Zel - hey Evie , how you been?
Evie - I'm good.
Zel - you still want drugs
Evie - yeah. How much?
Zel - I won't charge you but I'll need a favor that you'll have to cash in on later.
Evie - I'll sleep with you . You're not that bad looking honestly
Zel - nah I'm good on that. It's something else. I'll let you know later.
Evie - okay
He smiled and handed me a small bag of fentanyl. I stuffed the bag in my pocket.
Zel - Alright lil Scotty. Have fun. Don't take too much of it.
I walked off and took one of the pills.
Silas walked out the bathroom.
Silas - come on we going on the Ferris Wheel.
Evie - okay
...................
We were sitting at the top of the Ferris wheel and that's when the drugs kicked in and honestly it felt amazing.
Silas looked at me.
Silas - you okay?
I nodded and he smiled.

We got off the Ferris Wheel , and walked around a bit more before Evie decided she was ready to leave.
She sat in my passenger seat and started to remove her clothes.
Silas - put your clothes on.
Evie - but it's so hot.
Silas - you're going home
Evie - no, I wanna stay with you.
I called Liv.
Silas - hey Liv.
Liv - hey, is everything alright?
Silas - we're good. Can Evie stay with me tonight?
Liv - yeah
Silas - alright
She hung up.
Silas - you can stay with me.
