"Recognize warning signs or prepare to be blindsided."
-Frank Sonnenberg

Days progressed, as they always do, with that strange presence still following her. She would most feel it when she was alone, and when she plays violin causing her to constantly have to stop to catch her breath. She hated it. She wanted whoever it was, whatever it is, to stop and leave her alone.

It was a major distraction.

Y/n bought noise canceling headphones from the mall to try and see if this would fix her problem.

It did.

But, Y/n has to hear herself when she plays, meaning that she cannot wear the headphones when she is playing violin making (whatever it is) come back.

"Do you think I'm going crazy?"

"No, of course not L/n." Her therapist told her. "It may be just a figment of your imagination? Don't you think?"

"No. Nothing like this has happened before. And I'm not that on edge to be imagining "ghost." She said with a distracted look on her face. "Do you think I need to talk to a medium?"

"Oh no! Of course not, hon. I don't think a medium would be able to help with this kind of problem either way. You're not even sure if it's a ghost or not. It may just be something your mind has been making up."

"Hm."

She sighed in defeat, and just accepted what the doctor had said and continued their session.

Y/n had been invited to an orchestra gala later that week. Or so she was told. They sent the letter a head of time due to the fact that they were unaware of her transfer, sending the invitation to France, to the email of her music instructor. They sent the letter ahead of time because the event was in Japan. Hence, she would need time to prepare, and to have the chauffeurs arrive at the correct time. Although, it was still a 2 hour drive, she was going to be sent a chauffeur to pick her up so that she would arrive that the appropriate time.

This was a big deal.

Y/n was personally invited to one of the biggest music events of all time today, and she just found out about it. She was overjoyed, there would be hundreds of many other talented music students, teachers, and professionals coming from all around the world. And she was one of them.

"THIS CALLS FOR A SHOPPING SPREE!!!" Mina shouts.

"Oh goodness no, I have no money. I'll just pick out something I already own."

"Nonsense! Please let me! I understand this is a big deal for you L/n!" Yayarozu said.

"Plus, it's only 9 o'clock! We'll have tons of time to find you something nice to wear!" Mina reasoned. "Let this be uh...thank you! For making school a lot more enjoyable!"

"Please let us do this for you!" Yayarozu asked.

Y/n looked at all of the girls looking at her with puppy dog eyes until she gave in, in defeat. "Alright let's do it! She smiled.
All of the girls screamed in excitement jumping up in down hugging Y/n almost making her lose her balance.

Momo, Mina, Ochaco, Jirou, Tsu, Hagakure, and Y/n all started towards the train station on their way to the mall.

They all walked around the mall stopping in different boutiques, shops and stores

A long, slick, elegant, satin, black, off the shoulder slip gown with a long slit traveling all the way down to her ankles to expose her slick thigh was (almost immediately) chosen. Alongside a pair of beautiful dangly diamond earrings with a matching necklace to match, and a pair of blake strap heels.

Y/n played with her hair as she dazed at herself in the mirror of her dorm.

"I told you it was a good pick! Look! She's literally admiring herself!" Hakagure says in triumph.

"You look stunning L/n." Jirou adds.

Y/n continues to daze at herself, wondering who she was even looking at in mirror.

"Elle est belle..." The girl in the mirror mumbled to herself rubbing her arm.
Translation: "She is beautiful..."

She then snaps out of the trance she fixed her posture, and then walked back into the bathroom to change out of the dress gently and puts her past clothes back on to go and sit back in the room to continue chatting about the trivial with the people that are sitting in her room with the now titled friends.
