i'm at my desk watching jayden sleep on my bed. i can't believe all that happened last night and we were completely sober while doing it. if we would have told someone what happened they would think we were on something while it happened but no. all of the things we do is out of love. i can't express more how much i love this girl. i could marry her if she wanted to get married. i see a future with her. so with that being said i'm asking her today to be my girlfriend before we go our separate lives. hers being in la mine in sd. our love won't fade from our distance. i'm writing my list of things i'm getting jayden as my way of asking her out. i have a plan i just want my moms opinion on it.

despite our conflicts between each other she knows what's best when it comes to relationships. just not our family relationship. i finish writing and fold up the paper. as i stood up jayden started to move around and i saw her waking up.

she's laying on her back looking at me, "what time is it?" she asks

her sleepy voice makes me smile everytime i hear it☺️. i pick up my phone, "it's 11:12 in the morning" i say

she smacks her lips and she rolls back over to her side, "i don't wanna go homeeee" jayden groans

i walk over to her, "your mom wants you home" i say

"fuck what she wants" she says

i raise my eyebrows, "wow you are so harsh about your mom" i say before walking out the room. i go downstairs to the kitchen and i see my mom making breakfast.

i smile, "ouuu are you making huevos rancheros y torrijas?" i ask excitedly

mom smiles, "you are correct. your auntie sent me the recipe last night she's been feeding victor and isabella this for a week and i finally convinced her to hand out our mom's recipe." mom says

i giggle a little, "i love this meal we haven't had it since last time we saw abuela" i say

mom looks at me with a smirk, "speaking of abuela for the summer we are going to spain to visit her for two week" mom says

my jaw drops, "no way" i say

"mhm" mom says

hayley came downstairs in a onesie. i smile at her, "awww look at you wearing our matching onesie" i tease

hayley rolls her eyes, "shut up" she says

i laugh a little. she came into the kitchen and opens the fridge before pausing. she turns around and her face lit up, "you're making huevos rancheros y torrijas???" hayley asks mom

"yes" mom and i say with a smile

hayley smiles, "i love that meal" she adds on

"and we're visiting abuela for two weeks this summer" mom says

her smile faded, "oh" she says

i glance at mom who looks confused, "what's with the face?" mom asks her

"it's just.. i was planning on spending the summer with chris and his family" hayley says

i look at mom, "i barely know him to let you go over his house hayley" mom says

i look at hayley, "i told you we can have a family dinner and meet them" hayley says

"i don't think he's good for you" mom says. damn. my eyebrows shot up.

"how?" hayley asks

i saw jayden coming downstairs so i got up and left the kitchen to keep her from coming in to hear them have an argument. jayden and i meet in the center of the living room and my mom and hayley are arguing already she can hear it.
