Patton's POV
(Warning for: Virgil joking about his poor mental health, and Patton having internal monologue about poor mental health.)

After a good nights sleep, and calming down from my worries with Remy, I was able to put my concerns for Roman aside... Yes, he was acting... strange. Even now, as we walked down the halls to get Virgil and Remy for class, he hummed and spun around without a care in the world. Still, he was happy, and if he was happy, I was happy.

"Oh, Virgil!" Roman called as he happily knocked on the door. I couldn't help but giggle, though my giggle quickly faded into a nervous sound when Remy answered the door. "What do you want? It's, like, way too early." Remy murmured. Without meaning to, I kind of stepped behind Roman to hide myself, and watched Remy over Roman's shoulder.

Okay... Maybe I haven't calmed my nerves after all...

"It is time for classes, I'm afraid you can only have so many days off." Roman informed them happily. "Besides, I simply couldn't wait to see my Dark Prince, so I decided I'd walk with him to class." He added dreamily, causing Remy to snort. "Sure Princey." He muttered before walking over to Virgil's bed, leaving the door open behind him.

"Ight babes, time to get up." Remy informed his friend. Virgil groaned loudly and hid under his covers, causing Remy to sigh in frustration. "Oh no you don't. If I have to be up at this dreadful time, so do you." Remy insisted, pulling up one side of Virgil's mattress. Virgil let out a startled yell as he fell to the ground, causing Roman to look terrified for a moment. I couldn't help but giggle as Virgil began to hiss violently, sounding exactly like a cat... Actually, when Remy pulled the covers off of Virgil, he stood kinda like an angry cat too. His back was arched as he hissed, and then he crawled under the bed to hide.

"Virgil, you're not in cat form. Don't even try it with me." Remy scolded, rolling his eyes. "Sorry about this, if I'm not a morning person, he's a Vampire." Remy then told us. He paused when he noticed me, and we both quickly looked away from each other. I could hear Remy clear his throat, but still looked at the ground as he returned his attention to Virgil. "Virgil please. I don't want to deal with them alone." Remy pleaded...

I... That... Hmm...
Did I really upset him that much?

"Surely we aren't that bad." Roman defended, looking at Remy hesitantly. "No, I guess you're not... That's kind of the problem." He admitted, causing me to look back up as he dragged Virgil out. "What do you mean?" I asked, my voice nearly a whimper. I didn't intend it, it just did that sometimes. Remy turned to look at me as Virgil pulled away from him, then, realizing we were here, stopped acting like an aggressive cat and stared at us nervously.

"Well, it's hard. Being told one thing about you guys only to find out it was wrong... Being told that this place would be walking hell for us, only for things to actually work out really well... It's... A lot to figure out I guess, and it's too early in the morning for an existential crisis." Remy explained as Virgil awkwardly moved to stand up. "Uh... Sorry... I... didn't know you guys were here..." Virgil mumbled, looking anywhere other than at us as his cheeks became red.

"It's alright, we get it. You should see Roman when he doesn't want-" I began, only for Roman to cover my mouth. "Uh... Yeah... We get it." Roman chuckled awkwardly before releasing my mouth. "Right..." Virgil muttered, smirking a little at Roman. "Who knew the Heir of Auradon got nervous. Embarrassed that you're not a morning person, Princey?" He then mocked playfully before walking towards his dresser. "I... Well, I suppose I lose my temper sometimes..." Roman admitted, rubbing the back of his head. I placed a hand on his shoulder and gave him a reassuring smile.

"Yeah, I saw you when you snapped at Logan." Virgil confirmed, looking Roman up and down before walking towards the bathroom. "I'm going to go finish my morning breakdown and get dressed in the bathroom. You three have fun." Virgil informed us casually before closing the bathroom door. Roman blinked, then chuckled, watching the bathroom door with a lovesick expression. "I wish I could make mornings easier for him..." Roman sighed, his head somewhere else again.
