Vladimira's P.O.V

My legs ache in protest from my swift pacing, my fingers burning from my constant nail biting.

"You have to call him, Vladimira. He'll understand your predicament," I stop pacing before releasing a frustrated growl, "you're the Luna Queen, stop acting like a child and call him," I growl to myself.

I run my hand through my hair frustratedly.

This day has been harder than I thought it would be.

Instead of getting an abortion, I let my emotions get the best of me, now I'm carrying a child and I have no idea what the first thing is when it comes to taking care of another being inside of me.

Not only that, but I also have to tell my father's arch enemy that his child is indeed still alive.

My father will probably resent his own grandchild because of its DNA, or worse, he'll resent me for carrying the child.

It's too late at night to be thinking so intensely, especially since I'm pregnant; the one thing I do know about pregnancy is that you shouldn't stress yourself out.

I release a troubled sigh as my stomach rumbles. Glancing down at my belly, I smile.

"You and I have had a harsh day. Your father can wait till tomorrow to know about you, for now, let's eat," I say softly, my hand gently rubbing my belly, "Ya tebya lyublyu, Moy Angel."

I remove my hand from my stomach before leaving my room to go to the kitchen.

My stomach rumbles once again. I find myself craving mint chocolate chip ice cream with jalapeños and that's the only thing I want.

I huff before grabbing my keys. Soon, I'm on my way to a small, unpopulated store.

I walk the aisles slowly, searching for what I want and maybe even picking up a few extra things.

My phone starts to buzz in my pocket, making me sigh. The caller ID tells me that my father is calling.

"Hey, Dad," I say as I grab a mint chocolate chip ice cream tub.

My father's calm, yet angry voice meets my ears.

It's scary considering my father always talks so calmly when he's angry. It makes people even more afraid of his actual reactions.

My father has many different scary traits, which makes him a very unpredictable alpha king.

"What are you doing right now?" He asks stiffly. I suck in a nervous breath as fear bubbles up inside of me like a hurricane.

"I'm just at the store. I'll be home in a minute, I'm almost done," I reply softly, my hand gripping my stomach.

My father gives a hum. "I want you home now."

"I'm almost-"

"I said now, Vladimira!" He growls in his alpha voice.

I give a whimper as I submit. "Yes, Alpha."

I hang up the phone before crossing my arms.

What could I have possibly done that has made him this angry? I mean, there's plenty of things going on in my life but he doesn't know about any of them.

I buy the stuff I picked up before speeding home.

When I get home, there's an eerie silence floating around.

I trudge up the stairs and hold my breath as I push open the door to my father's office.

My father is seated in his large, leather chair, his eyes trained on his clasped hands.
