I stepped into the gym, and all the lights turned on.
"I was wondering when you'd finally come and challenge me!" Alexis smiled as she began walking onto the battlefield. "Welcome!"
"Thanks." I smiled as he began walking towards the battlefield. "Pachirisu, you go sit with Circe okay?"
"Cheewa!" Pachirisu nodded as he ran by Circe's side.
Circe held Pachirisu in her arms, then looked at me.
"Good luck Zel! Do your best!" She smiled at me.
"Yeah, thanks. I got this!" I said back to Circe as I stepped onto the battlefield.
"Good seeing you again Circe!" Alexis waved to her, and Circe smiled and waved back. Then Alexis faced me again. "You ready for this? Let's not waste any time!"
I got out my Poké Ball.
"I'm ready! Let's do it!" I said.
The Rose City referee stood in his position and got ready to speak.
"The gym battle between challenger Zeldris, and gym leader Alexis will now get underway. This will be a 3v3 battle, only the challenger is allowed substitutions. The battle is over when either side loses all 3 Pokémon. Now both sides bring out your first Pokémon!" The referee yelled.
"Gourgeist come on out!"
"Hippowdon make the ground shake!" We both threw out our Poké Balls and our Pokémon appeared.
"Gouuurr!"
"Hippooowwww!" Our Pokémon cried.
Gourgeist has the advantage... we've got this for sure!
"You can do it Gourgeist!" Circe cheered.
"Using a grass type for the type advantage huh?" Alexis smiled.
"The challenger will have the first move! Battle begin!" The referee yelled.
"Gourgeist use seed bomb!" I yelled.
"Gour! Gour!" Gourgeist cried as it began shooting blasts of seeds at Hippowdon.
"Hippowdon dig!" Alexis smiled.
"Hippowwww!" Hippowdon said as it dug its way underground, dodging seed bomb.
