This is all intended to make my chest hurt like shit.

Short

"Xiao. What are doing? I'm not pregnant anymore."-Aether

The raven was kissing his stomach when he was just kissing his back. He knew how much kissing the scars all over the blond's body really comforted him, but there were certain scars that he didn't want to show. They reminded him of his childhood.

"You said I could kiss every scar. But you have a light burn on your stomach. It looks untreated. And almost ancient."-Xiao

"Eh? Oh that's from when I went to visit my grandparents as a child. They spilled herbs on my stomach when I touched a cooking pot outside. I tried to put it out on my stomach."-Aether

"You're a terrible lier. Let me see the wings."-Xiao

Aether groaned, his wings emerging from his back. Xiao observed the amount of scratches the wings had. Butter knife, pencil, small arrows, and a small tiny chip were all he saw. He kissed them all.

"Tell me the real reason you have that burn."-Xiao

"Sigh. Before I traveled the world, I opposed my father's way of thinking about ruling. So he said I was going to learn the elements and reactions up close for punishment. I didn't know what he meant until he got out a torch and some grass. He placed the fire on my stomach and watched me scream and cry for a hour before actually putting on the grass so Dendro could do it's thing and burn."-Aether

Xiao caressed his cheek almost coldly. But it felt warm despite his personality. That's just how he is. Protective like a knight, but cares a whole bunch.

He went back to kissing his scars, from the lower part of the body to his lips. Aether then put away his wings so they could sleep. The blond gave him one last kiss.

"You cheesy idiot. I love you."-Aether

The raven was snoring peacefully already. The blond joined him as they rested until the morning sunrise.
