☾Chapter Six☽

"What do you want?" I say, my voice a mere whisper.

"I am just checking if the appointment date is set."

"Well, it is, and it's happening this upcoming Tuesday," I glance around the room, checking for my father.

Titus gives a hum of approval before hanging up.

I scoff as I pull the phone back to stare at it.

He's such a gentleman...

The next three days passed quickly, my abortion coming all too soon.

My wolf had grown from disliking the little thing, to just being straight up callous.

It was surprising since I actually think I've grown more fond of the little thing, but every time I tried to comprehend these feelings, my wolf would always place disturbing images of how horrible this child would make my life inside of my head.

My wolf didn't have any concern for the little thing, which is even more surprising since wolves adore their pups very much.

I place a hand over my stomach as another bout of morning sickness passes over me.

This is the fourth one!

It has never been this unpleasant before. My guess is because of how nervous I am.

Even though I don't want to admit it, I'm scared.

I stand up cautiously before flushing the toilet. Placing a hand on my belly, I take in slow, relaxing breaths to calm my nausea.

"At least Grandpa is out of the house, if he wasn't, he would be knocking down this bathroom door," I whisper to my stomach, referring to my father.

I brush my teeth and fishtail braid my hair before walking into my closet.

I don't feel like dressing up, and to be honest, an abortion isn't exactly the event to dress up for, so I settle on jeans and a random shirt that is loose fitting, concealing my bump.

Lilli had called about an hour ago to make sure I'm alright, while Titus had called early in the morning to make sure I was up and getting ready for my appointment.

I don't know whether Titus was calling for the sake of his child or for his own reassurance.

After I'm dressed, I grab my phone and slide it in my back pocket, deciding that I'm going to walk to the pack infirmary building.

I look over the many trees before breathing in the oak smell of the woods once I'm outside. Turning my head towards the pack house, I catch a glimpse of my father training the warriors.

They all look exhausted and miserable, but they still kept working, knowing my father won't hesitate to embarrass them in front of every single one of their pack members.

I begin walking towards the infirmary, and sadly, even though I walked slow, it still came into view all too soon.

Daniella smiles at me as I walk in.

"Good morning, Luna. Do you want to go on head and go into the designated room?"

I smile before nodding. "B3, right?"

Daniella nods before walking into her office, probably to gather papers and forms.

I walk down the hall, my eyes skimming all the doors for the plaque that reads "B3" in big, bold letters.

I push open the door once I find the room before sucking in a deep breath.

There, in the corner of the room, were multiple needles and a few other tools that I couldn't identify.
