"You didn't have to bring me."
"Yeah, you didn't have to bring Potter." Draco sneered. I shot him a look as Harry ran his fingers through his scruffy hair. He looked nervous."Nonsense, what mine is yours." I handed the vault keeper my key to the Byzantine vaults.
We found ourselves traveling in a cart. I wrapped my arms around Draco to prevent him from getting dizzy. For some reason, Harry wrapped his arms around us to protect us from falling rocks and various hazards. "I don't need your protection, Potter!" He gritted. He tried to look brave but failed when the cart went into a deep drop.
"If you die then my sister will cry, consider this as a truce, Malfoy." I cracked a smile. I'll take this over bickering any day.My vault slowly opened to reveal a whole treasure room of Galleons. There were some artifacts there too. It was a vast oasis of gold and riches. I found myself grateful for not being raised with a silver spoon in my mouth like Malfoy. I would've been so spoiled. The artifacts twinkled in the sun. I can feel the magic emanating in the air. Some of these artifacts are even dark in nature. Makes sense, considering my uncle (well adoptive) is a deatheater. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a horcrux in here.
"That's even bigger than my vault." Draco pointed out. I took out my black sartchel and nonchalantly dragged a pile of galleons into the bag. I had a sizable amount. Half of it was given to my brother.
"No-"
"I insist." He acknowledged the gift and took the galleons. The whole ride back was the same as the ride forward. Except the coins jingled with every dip, dive, and trip.
