If we're being honest, you're usually the one to wake up first mostly due to work.
So, by the time he's up you've already made a pot of coffee and are getting the last of your things so you can leave.
On the weekends though you indulge yourself by sleeping as much as possible so that leaves Niall alone for a few hours in the morning which he doesn't particularly care for so he'll end up making breakfast in the hopes you'll smell food and wake up.
However, when it wasn't a week day you slept like the dead so that meant that against his best efforts at cooking Niall has to physically wake you up which consisted of him laying on top of you until you couldn't suffer under his weight anymore.
And when you were being especially stubborn he would plant kisses onto your cheeks making sure to smash his face against your's so you could get the extra effect of his morning stubble.
