"How are you feeling hija? May masakit ba sayo?" Boses agad ni Mom ang unang bumungad sa akin. Hirap na hirap ko pang iminulat ang mga mata ko and a white ceiling welcomed me.

"Where am I mom?" Nanghihinang sabi ko at babangon na sana ako nang maramdaman ko ang pagkirot ng binti ko. Sobrang sakit noon at hindi ko 'yon halos maigalaw. Pati ang likod ko ay sobrang sakit din.

"You're in a hospital hija. Huwag ka na munang gumalaw. Thank god Vienna found you on the ice rink. Nawalan ka daw ng malay. Sya ang nag-dala sayo dito sa ospital." Mom said kaya napatingin ako sa kanya. Agad kong hinanap si Vienna pero wala sya dito.

"Si Vienna po?"

"Oo. But she's not here. Bumibili sya ng mga gamot mo na sinabi ng doctor." Mom said kaya napakunot ang noo ko saka ako bumalik sa pagkakahiga ko dahil sobrang sakit talaga ng katawan ko.

"Why are you there hija? Alam mo naman na hindi ka pwedeng mag-tagal na higit sa isang oras man lang sa lamig." I let out a deep breath because of her sermons. Hindi ko na alam kung ilang oras ba akong nandoon sa ice rink. Pero napapaisip lang ako kung bakit nandoon si Vienna. Anong ginagawa nya doon?

"I'm sorry Mom. Gusto ko lang naman matutong mag-skate."

"Mag-skate? And when did you get interested on that sports? You know that you're so prone to colds right?"

"I know Mom but I just want to try." I just said. May sasabihin pa sana si Mom nang dumating na ang doctor.

"Good evening Doc. How's my daughter? Is she fine?"

"Your daughter is fine Mrs.Revaz. But since she has a cold intolerance, she needs to stay out of cold. She can't stay on a cold place or if she can't avoid, she should wear thicker clothes. Her condition might get worst if she didn't follow the restrictions about her health. There's so many possible complications Mrs.Revaz. So I hope, Jade will take care of herself more. Because now, she has a fibromyalgia. Which is a chronic condition causes body-wide pain and discomfort. That's what exactly she is experiencing right now." Mahabang paliwanag ng doctor kaya napaiwas na lang ako ng tingin.

Ilang beses ko bang maririnig ang Cold Intolerance na 'yan sa buhay ko? Bakit kasi mahina ako sa malamig? How can I skate now with Sebastian?

"Yes Doc. I'll make sure na hindi na sya tatagal sa malamig."

"If that is, just make sure that she will drink my prescribed medicines for her. Pero sa ngayon mananakit talaga ang katawan nya ng mga ilang araw. But she's going to be fine. There's nothing to worry for now."

"Thank you Doc."

"I'll excuse myself Mrs.Revaz.  I still have some patients to check." Sabi ng doctor bago ito tuluyang lumabas ng kwarto ko. I let out a deep breath before I rubbed my own arms. Hanggang ngayon ay nilalamig parin ako.

"Should I turn off the aircon?"

"No Mom. I'm fine." I said. Sobrang hina na ng aircon pero nilalamig parin ako. I made Mom and Dad worried again.

"I'm sorry Mom. I made you worried again."

"Jade naman?" Malambing na sabi sa akin ni Mom saka nya bahagyang minasahe ang mga binti ko. It's been 13 years since I was diagnosed of cold intolerance. I can still remember how I fainted on cold when I was 5 years old. Umiiyak pa ako noon kapag hindi ako nakakapag-laro sa snow tuwing winter season sa bansa na gusto kong puntahan non. But right now, I feel so sad even more.
