"I'm fine." I said but my eyes tell the truth. I don't know but the moment I said that word, I suddenly felt so hurt.

I'm not fine at all. Damn!

"I know that you're going to lie if I asked you that question over the phone. Damn! This is the reason why I can't leave you anymore." He frustratingly said to me before he walk towards me and pull me for a hug. Hindi ko alam kung yayakapin ko rin ba sya. Kung katulad lang sana kami ng dati ay baka mahigpit ko na sya ngayong niyayakap. But I know that everything has changed between us. I hurt him.

"You're supposed to be mad at me Grey. Why don't you shout me, blame me and get angry with me? Come on, pwede mo naman akong sigawan. I deserve it after all." I said while guilt is really killing me.

"You can get everything you want but not my blame, regrets and angers Jade. All I can give to you is my sincere and pure intentions. How can I be mad at you? Tell me. Can you tell? If you're not, stop crying and tell me everything that hurts you instead and I'll try my best to ease that pain inside you." He said before he let go of me and wipe my tears away. By just looking at him, even he's smiling I know there's something behind that smile. And I know that loneliness and pain are just hiding behind that smile.

"I'm sorry Grey. I'm really sorry." I just said to him dahil wala akong ibang masabi kundi sorry sa lahat ng nagawa ko sa kanya. Nakalimutan ko sya at naipagsa-walang bahala ko sya 'yon ang totoo.

"Hayst! I'm not here to hear your apologies. I'm here to comfort you. Come on, tell me everything why you're upset." He said saka nya ako inakbayan papunta sa garden. Hinayaan ko lang naman sya sa gusto nya hanggang sa makarating kami sa garden. Bigla ko tuloy naalala ang proposal ni Sebastian. That was so sweet but we're here right now. Mapait akong napangiti dahil sa naisip kong 'yon.

"So you know everything?" Grey said so I just let out a deep breath before I nod at him.

"Do you have any plans right now?"

"I'm going to work as soon as possible to our company. After I finish my 2nd year on college I will enter our company and Dad will going to train me. I need to do something."

"But why? I thought Lee State Company is going to help Tito Conrad? You and Sebastian is going to m-marry each other r-right?" Muli akong napabuntong hininga nang marinig ko ang nauutal na boses ni Grey nang banggitin nya ang tungkol sa kasal namin ni Sebastian.

"Our engagement is going to be canceled for a while."

"W-What? B-But why? Sinaktan ka ba nya?"

"N-No! He didn't hurt me. Honestly, I did the other way around. I'm the one who hurt him." I said to him before we decided to sit on the grass just in front of the pond here in our garden. I look up at the night sky, the moon is shinning and I can't count the stars above. Napunta naman ang tingin ko sa pond. Gabi na kaya siguro hindi ko na matanaw ang mga swan dito sa pond. I wonder, namomroblema rin kaya ang mga swan? Nalulungkot rin kaya sila? Nasasaktan?

Gusto kong matawa sa sarili kong mga tanong.

"Why? Because you're the one who decided to cancel your engagement?" He said so I just nod at him. Kapag naalala ko ang huling tagpo namin ay hindi ko maiwasan na maguilty. It's been 2 days since what happened. Hindi nya ako dinadalaw dito sa bahay pero araw araw syang tumatawag at halos minuminuto syang nag-tetext sa akin. At dahil doon sa ginagawa nya, mas lalo ko lang syang namimiss.
