Should I rewrite the fanfic?

Hey guys,

I've thought about this for quite a while now - even before I finished writing the story: I wanna rewrite the chapters a bit to improve them. When I started writing the fan-fiction, I was not as good in English as I am now. But the main reason why is because back then I was not a great story-teller so therefor I am not really satisfied with the overall fanfic. I love the story and the ideas behind it but it's not the way I want it to be - if you know what I mean. I feel like I can do a lot more than I can do now because I improved my writing skills (both in German and English) a lot over the last few years. 

The overall story and the main events will stay the same but I will rewrite, reorder or remove some bits and pieces to make it better. I already did that with one of my german fan-fictions and I am really pleased with how the new version turned out so I wanted to apply that concept to this story as well. 

Please comment your opinion as I am very unsure if I should do it.
