This is all so overwhelming for you, so you have to go back to the BAU to talk to Jane instead of feeling the loss that these parents are feeling. As soon as the crime scene unit comes, Hotch decides it's okay to head back to the BAU where Emily, Spencer, and Jane are. She's in an interrogating room with Spencer while Emily grabs her bag that the officers confiscated.

"Did I do the right thing by coming here?" Jane asks quietly.

"Yes, you did the right thing. Please, sit down," Spencer says.

Emily comes in with her paper bag, and Jane gets excited to have it back.

"Is that my bag?" Emily hands it over, and Jane hotels it close and sits down. "Frank hasn't hurt anyone, has he? He wouldn't do that. Not while he has me."

"He doesn't have you. We do," JJ sighs.

"He came after agent Gideon."

"Why did you leave Frank? What changed?" you wonder.

"He did. Frank changed. He changed just like agent Gideon said. He was so angry with agent Gideon because he knows Frank better than anyone else. Frank knows that, too."

"Frank wants agent Gideon to stop him, doesn't he?"

"Well, if anyone can, agent Gideon can."

"Not without you, Jane."

"What do you mean?"

"Tell me about Frank. Where's he from?" you ask, changing tactics.

"Manhattan. He talked about it all the time. He told me where he lived and how he grew up--everything. He wanted me to know everything."

"Did he ever say where in Manhattan?"

"He lived with his mother. She was German. Breitkopf. Mary Breitkopf. Frank never knew his father."

You're getting so much information on Frank through Jane, so you continue hoping she reveals where Frank took Tracey. If you get her back, then Frank loses his leverage.

"So, he uses his mother's name?"

"Every Sunday, she would take him to the fair on Long Island. He talked about her constantly. And they would have dinner parties, and Frank would dress up, and he would be the barman, and he would serve all the guests cocktails."

"Jane, when you were with Frank, did he ever hurt anyone else?" JJ asks since she is getting off topic.

"Being on the run can be very romantic, you know," Jane gushes, ignoring her question.

"Did Frank try to kill anyone else?"

"Is it wrong?"

"Is what wrong?"

"Loving Frank?"

"Uh, you don't choose who you fall in love with."

"Maybe you thought you could change him. You did for a time," Hotch says.

"Yes."

"Until the desire to kill overwhelmed him. You saw that, didn't you, Jane? You saw it in him."

"Yes," she whispers.

"Who did he try to kill?" you ask gently.

"Me... but he stopped himself. We had an argument, I screamed at him, and I said that Gideon was right. He became so angry. I had to run here, but as long as he's trying to find me, he won't kill again."

"He has already, and he's not going to stop until he gets you back."

"Oh."

"I'm sorry," she sighs.
