You, Gideon, Derek, Rick, and a bunch of other police officers went to the location that the phone pinged at. The unsub really wants you to know that he is here, and you know exactly why. He thinks you have Jane, and he's only going to give the Sheriff back until he has her. That's why half your team went to Jane's house to see if she was there. They need to find her before the sheriff is hurt.

You can see him in the diner a hundred feet from you. He's sitting all by his lonesome, staring at something in front of him. The scary thing about this is that you can't read anything off him. He is giving nothing off like you thought he would, but actually seeing him is freaking you out.

"Okay, listen up! He should be driving a truck or SUV muted in color like black or dark brown," Derek says.

There are cars in the parking lot, but you have to find the car he's been driving. Considering all but one is newer, you know the kind of car he's been driving. It wasn't that hard to find, and Rick approaches it with some of his men. It could be rigged to blow, you have no idea what's going to happen.

"Come look at this. As you boys said, he'll have a CB, police-band radio, and radar detector."

"Hotch better find Jane and fast. He's waiting for us," Gideon states.

"Well, let's get that bastard."

"No, we still don't have the sheriff. Well, when I get a hold of him, we will."

Rick doesn't want to listen to Gideon, so he tries to push his way through, but Derek stops him.

"Hey, wait a minute. Wait a minute! He's smart. We got to be smarter. He turned that cell phone on because by now, he knows we're onto him."

"It's not wise to bust in there, Rick, without knowing all the answers," you say.

"Well, you three have fifteen minutes, then we're coming in."

"Fifteen minutes. That's all I need," Gideon nods.

You, Gideon, and Derek head to the diner, but the unsub makes no move to acknowledge that you're here. The place is kind of busy, but it's only in the kitchen. There are some customers that have ordered a lot, so the kitchen is fairly busy.

"Ribeye, Adam and Eve on a wrap, steak, and a strawberry shake for the gentleman at table 8!" The waitress turns to you and the two men, and she smiles at Gideon. "Ah, finally! You walk into my life. What took you so long, handsome?"

Gideon, however, doesn't pay her any mind. She has no clue what is going on, who is sitting in her diner, and why you guys are here. She must see the police outside of her diner, but she isn't putting two and two together. Instead of answering her questions, Gideon walks right past her and to your unsub. You stop short when you feel a type of longing... the only kind of longing you get from the dead. Someone dead is in this diner, but you don't know where. The person has been dead for quite some time now, so there isn't a lot of energy hanging back.

"Mind if I sit here?" Gideon asks when he arrives.

"Please. You should try Fat Sam's milkshakes."

The man looks up and locks eyes with you, but you don't back down from him. Men like him should scare you, but you've been good at sticking up for yourself. He is not going to get the satisfaction of knowing he is making you feel fear. Instead, you show him peace and calm--and you can see that it irritates him.

"I'm cold and tired."

"You're also not from around here."

"Where are you from?"

"You really should try the shakes. What's your name?" Gideon doesn't answer him. "Come on. Names are a hobby of mine."

"Jason Gideon."
