I've been looking forward to this week
Made my own spirit week for my students
I'm the lead teacher for the first time today
I've been so afraid to move forward
But so god damn ready to try
I was looking forward to this week
Until you prolonged your negativity
Until you kept fighting with me
Until you spilled your guts to her at work
Until you made me feel like shit
For not wanting to share you
Now I'm sitting at my desk
In a classroom full of watching eyes
It's wear your favorite color day
I had fun projects planned for them
But now there's nothing i can do
Other than stare blankly ahead
And fail miserably at my first lead day
