"Alright mom, my manager is waiting outside"
"Okay, dear. Tell me later if you're going to stay over again"
"Yes mom, see you"
I took my bag with my extra clothes for after-school practice and I went to our van.
"Hey, hyung" Jungwon greeted me.
"Morning, Jay hyung" Sunoo said.
"How is Niki doing?" I asked.
"We don't really know..."

"Heeseung hyung made him go to sleep immediately and all of us as well" Jungwon explained.
"And we left this morning that they were still sleeping" Sunoo added.
"And how's my bestie, hyung?"
"We texted yesterday and she feels guilty... I feel like I fucked up everything"
"Hyung don't say that. We all know the two won't stay mad at each other for so long and we all know how is Niki and his pride"

"Everything will go back to normality soon. Don't worry" Sunoo said as I smiled mouthing a 'Thank you'.
"Hyung? Can you do me a favor?" I asked our manager.
"Sure, what is it?"
"Can you make a delivery for Umi? I wanna order her some breakfast"
"Sure. I'll talk to their manager as well and send someone to deliver her your order"
"Thanks, hyung"

"What are you gonna order?" Our other manager asked ready to write it down.
"Strawberry jam filled bread and a hot Caramel Latte"
"Noted"
"Can you also add a note saying that it's from me?"
"Ok. Just send me what to write"
"Can you also order Niki's faves? All accredited to my account"

"Anything else?"
"Yeah, uhm buy the others their coffees. Those are on me as well"
"What about us, hyung?" Sunoo's eyes lit up while asking that.
"I'll buy you guys some snacks from the vending machine at school because if we make a stop, we'll be late"
"Woah, hyung! Thanks!" Jungwon said and we arrived at school.

Umi's pov

"Umi? Wake up. The maknaes are already at school and we have to go to the company" Nayeon said waking me up.
"What time is it?"
"11.30 am, so get ready quickly" she said.
"Ok, unnie"
Once at the company, we went to our artist lounge room. Yes, we have already been given one since our debut is in 7 months. July 2022.

We were in our artist lounge, going through our schedules and just waiting for the other girls to arrive (Sehyeol, Haneul, and Minah).
"Umi, special delivery" our manager said placing a paper bag on the coffee table in front of me.
"Huh? From who?"
"Just check it out" she said.
I opened the bag and found a box of my favorite fish bread, a hot Caramel Latte, and a note.

"So? Who is it from?" Eunwoo asked.
"Who else would it be? Look at her smile" Nayeon said in a teasing tone.
"Yes, it's from Jay" I said rolling my eyes at the two girls.
"Enjoy your food cuz once the girls arrive, you'll be shooting some of your recording session and some parts of today's practice, and you'll have to start packing soon" our manager explained.
