Rowan's P.O.V

After I pull away, I ask "What about just staying friends?"

"I just needed to see how that felt."

"Oh..okay."

"It's late. I better get going. See you tomorrow?"

"See you then."

Peyton gets up and walks towards the door. Once he leaves, I lay down on my bed and think to myself.

He just kissed me!

~the next day~

I wake up to someone knocking on my door.

"Who is it?" I yell.

"Peyton."

"Come in."

Peyton opens the door and walks in. "Happy birthday!" He says.

"Oh yeah! I forgot it was today!" I say laughing. Peyton joins in.

"How on earth do you forget your own birthday?"

"I have no idea."

"You should probably get ready. I have a surprise for you." Peyton says.

"Okay."

"Meet me by my dressing room at 12:00. And don't feel the need to dress up."

"Okay. See you later then."

"See you." Peyton walks out of my room and closes the door behind him.
