Chapter 4

Rowan's P.O.V

10:30. I look in my closet for something to wear. Peyton said not to get dressed up. First, I decided to wear dark blue jeans with black converse sneakers.

Now for my top. First I tried on a purple shirt with flowers. No. This doesn't work.

I tried on at least 15 different shirts before I found the right one. I chose a mint green and white plaid shirt. It's casual, but cute.

11:04. It's just about an hour before I leave. I can't believe I'm finally 19. Corey, Sabrina, and Peyton have all been 19 for a while. Now I'm finally caught up.

I lay on my couch and decide to re-read Harry Potter on my phone to pass the time. I set an alarm on my phone for 11:50 so I don't over read.

My alarm goes off and I stop reading. I get up and start walking to Peyton's dressing room. I knock on the door and Peyton answers instantaneously.

"Hello there." He says.

"Hey."

"Shall we get going?"

"Of course."

Peyton walks out of his room and closes his door. We walk to the parking lot side by side.

"Where are we going?" I ask curiously.

"Oh, you'll see in a little bit."
