HYEJOO + BTS AT AN AWARD SHOW

If there was one thing Hyejoo hated the most, it was award shows. She hated sitting for long periods of time, then having to stand up every so often and walk half a mile to the stage in heels.

It was especially nerve racking, though, since at all times, there was a camera on her. Though she couldn't see if from her seat, she knew there were plenty of eyes and cameras on her from fans.

This time she was seated amongst the other members at a circular table clad with a white table cover. All eight of them were given a water bottle, to which Hyejoo immediately began drinking once she sat down.

Music played loud on the overhead as more idols filled the room. Fans cheered louder than ever as they watched their favorite idols be seated.

Hyejoo sat patiently, watching as lines of people filed into their seats. She noticed in the distance BLACKPINK walking over to their seats. She made eye contact with Lisa, happily smiling at the friend whom she had not seen in ages. It was especially during times like this when she managed to regroup with friends who were in other groups.

Minutes passed and it had felt like hours. From across the table, Seokjin could sense Hyejoos attitude.

"Hyejoo," He whisper shouted, "Don't slouch."

She quickly fixed her posture. Sometimes she couldn't help it when she was bored.

Suddenly, as she sat and watched the monitors in front of her, a manager dressed in black appeared beside their table. "You guys are to go on after TXT," They explained swiftly before rushing to the next table.

Hyejoo sighed. She wanted to go home.

"Anti-ti-ti-ti- fragile, anti-ti-ti-ti fragile, fragile!"

A soft smile appeared on Hyejoos face as she watched her hoobaes perform. They were so energetic on stage that she couldn't help but feel like a proud mother on stage.

It remembered her of her own rookie days, practicing in some of the worst practice rooms you could imagine. Starting from the ground up made her feel proud.

As she sat quietly in her chair, she began to notice the multiple water bottles sitting on the table in front of her. She slyly reached over and grabbed Taehyungs, then reached for Namjoons. The two were too busy watching Lesserafim to notice.

She began to stack the three bottles one by one, creating a tower. She was so into this that she didn't even notice her face appear on the big screen.

It wasn't until the rest of her group, including several surroundings idols, began to lose their mind with laughter. She looked over at the screen, her face suddenly appearing. She audibly gasped, flinching at the sight.

"Hey! Hyejoo!" Namjoon laughed, quickly destroying her tower. Her face flushed red as she hid it in her palms.

The girls' performance finally came to an end. Hyejoo clapped happily with embarrassed tears filling her eyes. She was laughing so hard that she couldn't help but cry.

The rest of the group, especially Taehyung, couldn't stop making fun of her. They recreated the scene of her building the tower, as well as the face she made when she got caught. It was appealing to all of them.

Hyejoo sat quietly in a chair, getting her makeup touched up by an artist. In just a few minutes, they'd be going on stage to perform ON and Black Swan.

"Hey na na na, Can't hold me down 'cause you know I'm a fighter..."

The sound of Seokjins voice became audible. Hyejoo turned around, noticing him walk into her dressing room. She smiled.

"Jinnnnnie," She joked annoyingly. He came right up behind her in her chair, dancing crazily as he did so. She laughed before beginning to dance and sing with him.

Before she knew it, Hoseok and Namjoon came into the room at the sound of the two. They happily joined in with them, saying that they sounded awful.

"BTS is on in fifteen minutes!" A male voice called out.

The four finished singing and dancing and walked out of the room. They were immediately bombarded by a few of the staff, who needed to put their ear pieces in.

"Hyejoo, is that a new stage outfit?" Namjoon asked.

She looked down at her outfit. During last weeks fitting, she wore white pants and an oversized white shirt, along with some other accessories. Now, she was in the same baggy white pants, but she had a tight cropped white shirt instead of an oversized shirt. Her black boots were now white, matching the rest of the outfit.

"I guess so," She said, returning her eyes back to Namjoon. "Good eye!"

The four members met up with the rest of the guys. They all walked out to the back of the stage together with staff and stylists following closely behind.

In a crowd of people, Hyejoo managed to find Jimin. She ran up to him and quickly smacked his butt with her hand. He let out a quiet ouch! before turning to see who it was.

"Got 'cha!" She laughed, her eyes glimmering in the nearby light.

He went to flick her, but she quickly dodged. "You asshole," He laughed, accepting his defeat.

One of the male staff members informed them again that they went on in five minutes. A nervous pit was increasing in Hyejoos stomach. This happened before every performance they did.

Yoongi walked over. "Haru, Haru~," He sang, making fun of Hyejoos name while also singing Best of Me. She punched him in the arm, trying to stifle a laugh.

Finally, the eight of them were motioned out to join the stage. They walked from the wings onto the center of the stage. Even with her earpiece in, Hyejoo could still hear the quiet screams of ARMY's in the audience.

She hid her smile as she got into formation. A ticking sound was heard in her ear, notifying the seconds until the music was coming on.

Her hands shook and she waited.

Her eyes flashed over to Jungkook. He was standing there with a serious face, ready to perform. When he noticed her staring at him, he stopped to flash her a wink. She smiled.

Then, the music began.
