Abraxas Malfoy stood at the Ravenclaw entrance. It was now the first day of the break for Christmas and he had a plan and was very determined with it.
It was early in the morning. Usually he doesn't wake up this early but she does so he did this day. "Abraxas?" She said stepping out of the Ravenclaw entrance seeing the boy staring at her with a wide smile.
"Hello Darling" he said staring at the girl. She had no makeup on but just a low bun and a green sweater. She looked mesmerizing.
"I thought you had to go to your family's for Christmas?" She said as they started walking towards the dining hall.
"Change of plans. How are you though. How come you didn't go with your family?" He said changing the subject.
"There's nothing special about Christmas so I always stay. I spend most of the time in the library." She said making a turn with him.
"Well now you have company. I am going down to Hogsmeade later if you want to come." He said and she blinked at him slowly. She thought his company was enjoyable but nothing other than that.
"I have to study"
"Come on Mars, you're always studying. Let's go to The ThreeBroom sticks for butterbeer. I have to buy a couple things anyway" he said giving her a nickname which made her cringe internally.
"I'll think about it" she said walking more forward so she could enter the dining hall, leaving him feeling very accomplished.

She did in fact decide to go, but only cause he wouldn't leave her alone and she would get expelled if she hexed him.
"You never had butterbeer?" He said as they sat at the table in the corner.
"I don't like Hogsmeade. It's a waste of time"
"I see why Tom takes an interest in you. You two are quite a like, very uninterested in things. I swear butterbeer has magical drugs in it or some sorts. Do you trust me?"
"No"
"Well I'm gonna get you one anyway" he said and waved the waitress down to order. Marcelline didn't know why she agreed to come but was already extremely bored. She had wondered if Tom had found his way.
"So Marcelline Dubois. Tell me about yourself. What do you like to do?"
"Nothing" she said unamused.
"You need to lighten up a little bit. You know sex works wonders on tense people" he said and she raised her eyebrows at his suggestion.
"Malfoy I would never have sex with you in a million years if that's what you invited me here for."
"Just an offer and not it isn't. I want to get to know you"
"I don't want you to know me"
"What's your favorite color" he said ignoring her comment.
"Black" she said.
"Mines Green. When's your birthday"
"January 9th" she said watching the waitress come and hand them their butter beers but also handed Abraxas her number and left with with a wink towards him.
He looked at the number then up at Marcelline and ripped up the paper which shocked Marcelline.
"Your birthday is the same as Tom's" he said taking a sip of his butterbeer. Her sensed shot towards him when he said Tom's name.
"You are quite beautiful Marcelline. You and Tom aren't romantically involved?" He said watching as the girl finally gave in and took a sip of the drink.
"I don't date and me and Tom are just equals. I appreciate his ambition and intelligence." She said not admitting she actually enjoyed the drink.
"He's a fool then" he said confidently. She raised her eyebrows at his braveness. She knew it was all a facade and he would never speak such sorts of Tom in front of him.
She watched as Abraxas took another long sip of butterbeer but ended up with some of the foam on his top lip mimicking a mustache. She couldn't help but laugh slightly and he looked at her amused but confused.
Maybe she was being tense. Maybe she should loosen up a bit. She couldn't help but think that maybe Abraxas light heart would be good for her.
"My favorite color is actually Purple. I don't admit it though" she said and he raised his eyebrows. He smiled as she tried to loosen up a bit.
"What do you want to do after Hogwarts" Abraxas said.
"I want to change the world. There's so little people know and they are not motivated. With the right leadership this world could be so much more than it is. It is littered with scum and thick headed vile human beings. I want to show people the potential they hold" she said eyes brightening as she talked about her plans.
"Well Marcelline I could see you being a leader. I hope one day I could count myself as one of apprentices." He said.
