chap 47 They are hurt!!

Then i heard Adhya voice. When did she come, i still didn't know. She was looking normal that means she didn't see us. It was a relief. Or else i have to explain lot of things. When she asked for coffee and left the place, sarin sir asked us about what are we doing. Then i explained whole scenario. I showed him my burnt chest. Its still paining. I run my fingers over my chest.

I got up and took the ointment from the table and applied it on the area.

I lied down again on my bed. Neelakshi told me today even if i start loving Adhya, she lives in vulnerability forever because of my job. She is different from us. I cannot risk her life. Besides i don't know how long i will live. I am a soldier. Every moment of my life is under threat and risk. She has a point. If i progress in this relationship, There will be no way back. I still caged my heart for that very reason. I thought.

But i am a human too i deserve to be loved. What if everything goes good . With these confusing thoughts i slipped into deep slumber.

Adhya POV

I don't know when i slept yesterday. I got up from the bed. I looked myself in the mirror. I was looking horrible. My tear  stricken face made me remember yesterday's incident. Fresh tears start accumulating in my eyes. No i should not cry. I wiped my face and stormed into the bathroom.

After taking shower. I came out of the room. I dried my hair. My eyes were swollen. I hurriedly wear my t shirt and jeans. I need to go from here. Thankfully i have an excuse of Neeti Didi's marriage . Today i Don't want to stay here. I put on the black glasses and composed myself with confidence. As if nothing happened.

I lead my way to the door when i saw bangles he gave me Yesterday. I don't need them. I took them and went downstairs.

When i reached in hall i saw him in kitchen!
What's he doing there? I thought.

Then he saw me! And smiled widely

"Adhya! Hey" ! He then come to me.

"You are looking different today." He checked me out from head to toe .

"Why"? I asked

"Nothing.. you wear traditional most of the times. That's why i asked." He said .

"I want to wear them today" I replied planely.

"Ok , but traditional suits you more". He said.

Why , Neelakshi wears same kind of clothes. He liked her in those.  I thought but didn't reply.

"Anyways! Come have breakfast". I have prepared all." He said.

"No need! I am actually leaving. Neeti di needs me. Besides Naaz  is coming as well. So i have to rush."
I replied.

"But.. i have prepared all"  .. before he complete i butt in

"You can eat i will have mine at Neeti Didi's house". I said

I can see his face he is shocked with my replies.

I turned to leave but then i saw bangles in my hand.

I turned towards him

"And take these! I Don't think i deserve this". I replied.

"What are you saying." he asked in low voice.

"Besides, it's not going with my dress." I hurriedly handover the bangles to him and ran from the place.

"Adhya"!! I heard his voice. But i left the house in cab. I can't be weak.

Advitya POV

How can she do this. ? This is my mom's bangles.. i picked the bangles from floor. When Adhya gave me the bangles back. She didn't place it well on my hands and in her carelessness bangles fall on the ground.
The bangles screws are broken and misplaced. Hence it's broken in two parts.
This is my mom's bangles! A lone tear escaped from my right eye.
