Chapter 45

Jihyo thanked the girls when they gave her dinner.

It's 7pm, and the Soojin girl Miyeon was talking about who's actually Shuhua's girlfriend, arrived, bringing foor for dinner.

She went to her place and ate peacefully.

Then suddenly, she remembered Nayeon's text which she hasn't read yet. She took her phone and read the text.

Okayyyy, buy yourself some dinner and take care when going home.

Oh and by the way, your suitor, Daniel is looking for you~ I didn't tell him where you were cuz I actually don't know, hehe

Jihyo raised her eyebrows when she read the second message. She unconsciously smiled, her cheeks were pink.

"Mwoya... Why is he looking for me?" she whispered while smiling. She saw another text, and it was from him.

To: Jihyo
You're working already? So you're rejecting my job offer for you as my secretary? Why :(

Jihyo chuckled when she saw the sad emoticon.

"What's that? Ah seriously, why is he like this?" Jihyo said again.

'Why is he so cute?'

She just ignored that thought and his text message and continued eating.

Daniel's P.o.V.

Ahhhh!

"Why didn't she reply yet?! Is she that busy with her work?! I'm..."

"I miss her already...."

"Ahhhhhh," I groaned and kicked my table.

"Ow!" I said when I got hurt. Ugh.

"Are you okay, sir?" I looked up when I heard someone asked me.

"Ah, yes. Why?" I asked him. I'm still at my company, I don't want to go home yet until I receive Jihyo's text.

"We're going home, sir. You're staying?" he asked and I nodded.

"Yes. Take care y'all," I just answered and he nodded and left.

I stared at my phone again, waiting for Jihyo's text.

"Ahhhhhhhh Jihyo-ah! Come on, just reply! You know I don't want to call you because I don't want to disturb you but–"

"Just reply already.... Aish!"

'Why am I even acting like this? We're not even together yet.'

'Because you like her, pabo.'

'Oh, right sorry.'

But I still waited for her reply.

My phone vibrated, and I immediately looked at it.

YES! IT IS A REPLY FROM MY GIRL!

Nothing, I just don't want to work for or with you.
