She looked up at me in shock. She took the twins and sat them down in their chairs. "You look a hot ass mess, don't ever come down here like that again" she said, low-key joking with me.
I shook my head. She then kissed my cheek and laughed. "Happy birthday, breakfast is almost ready" she said, walking off to the stove. I sat down, watching her look so happy.

I turned the stove off, giggling. I fixed David's plate first, placing it in front of him instantly. "Enjoy. Your wifey and chef has to go change" I said running off. I did my routine and got dressed.

I walked back downstairs and fed the kids something light since they were just born yesterday, fixing my plate last and eating. "What are we doing today?" David ask me.
"I don't know babe, they say that pretty soon, everything's gonna be shut down" I said. "Is everything open still?" He asked me. "Yes" I said, trying to understand.
In case you don't know, they say this thing called Covid-19 is spreading around and we have to be careful. I just don't wanna take any precautions. "Let's go then.

I nodded. He's right, his uncles, aunts and parents haven been begging to meet Kiya and Brandon. "Okay. Just know you're spending the day with me though" I said. I heard a knock. Who's that?

"They're here" I said. He smiled at me, handing me the twins. I turned around heard voices in the living room. Damn, they move fast to meet some infants. I walked in with David, showing their faces.

That's not fair" he said, pouting. "At least she didn't mention your tastebuds like my momma did" I said. He nodded. I guess tomorrow will be me and him then.
