I looked at a sleeping Rose that tugged onto a pillow near her, smiling. I gently rubbed her shoulder and she woke up, looking at me. "What you doing?" She asked me.

"Nothing. Just watching you sleep to make sure you're okay" I told her. She smiled. "You really care about me?" She asked me. I nodded. "You're special, Rose.

I love you more than my job" I told her. "Awe, babe! Don't start, we just got here" she told me. I laughed as she wrapped her arms around me, making her giggle.

"You're special to me too, David. I love you" she told me, closing her eyes as she laid her head on my chest. "I love you too" I told her. Silence came because I didn't know what to say to her next.

𝕽𝖔𝖘𝖊𝖒𝖆𝖗𝖞

I groaned in pain when I felt a contraction hit my stomach. David jumped up. "Are you okay?" He asked me, concerned. "I'm fine, babe. Just contractions" I said.

He sighed in relief. I felt a kick that hit his abs, making me giggle. "What the hell?" He asked. I laughed. "That was one of the babies" I said. He rubbed my stomach, kicks coming in double time.

"They're so moody" he said, making me laugh harder. "That's our babies, don't do them like that" I said. He shook his head. "I'll love and cherish them forever though" he said, laying his head on my stomach and leaving kisses.

"I swear I love y'all 𝔞𝔫𝔡 your momma. She's the most precious thing that has ever came into my life. I thank her for giving me a new light in my life.

She opened a chapter in my book I didn't even know existed. It started off dark then it came into the light. I can't wait for you both to meet her.

She's a brave young woman although she's shy and quiet. I bet y'all be just like her. Probably even look like her too. She's a warrior and a princess. She's went through a lot that made her strong.

When you arrive, treat her with nothing but respect. She's sacrificing a lot for the both of you like she's done for me. I love her so, so much" he said.

I felt movement in my stomach and smiled. "I can tell that's our baby boy. He's happy and said he can't wait to meet the both of us. He wants to be like you: happy and adventurous" I said.

I felt movement from baby girl and smiled wider. "She's happy too. She can't wait to meet us either. She wants to be like me: cheery and confident" I said.

"That's all we need" he told me, grabbing my hand. I played in his hair as we went to sleep.
