I smiled as I read my book, David watching his movies as his arm was covered under mine to hold it and his head on my stomach while I played in his hair.
"You good, Rose?" He asked me. I looked down at him, smiling. "Yes baby, I'm fine" I told him. He smiled, turning over lightly, half of his face in my stomach.
"You're so precious to me" he said softly. "Why don't you look at that? My baby's 36 now" I said, making him chuckle. "You don't feel old yet?" I asked him.

I cleared my throat, making him look at me. First his face was in shock then he started smirking at me. I laid in the bed, my thighs covering the sheets. I'm about to be petty tonight.
