Synopsis: Is the king's army powerful? Are his subjects happy and his country prosperous? And above all, does he himself have the power to be a hero? These are the measures by which different nations determine the "Ranking of Kings".

Bojji is the first son of King Bosse, considered the strongest man in the world and ranked seventh in the King Ranking. Bojji dreams of succeeding his father and reaching the top of the ranking. But fate seems to be working against poor Bojji. He was born deaf and dumb and his naivety makes him the cunning of his people.
Born deaf and dumb, his naivety makes him the laughing stock of his people. This does not really give the impression that he will succeed in his quest. However, despite his physical weakness, Bojji, under the encouragement of his new friend Kage, strives to push his limits to prove his worth. In a world where only the strongest survive, will Bojji succeed in his attempts while protecting his kingdom?

" At first glance, Ranking of Kings looks like something out of a fairy tale book. But don't let the charming and simple style of this work fool you. It is only when you watch the anime that you discover its interesting world and carefully crafted characters. This story is filled with complex, morally grey characters who seem very human. Its fast-paced story does not fail to masterfully deliver the point of view of its characters as the mysteries of the series unfold one by one.

With its twists and turns that keep us on the edge of our seats, this tale makes cheering for Bojji quickly turn into a torrent of tears within seconds.
Ranking of Kings is a wonderful adaptation, but it hides an emotional and initiatory tale that follows little Bojji. It is a story that teaches us to face our own shortcomings and to accept ourselves as we are, to embrace our qualities and weaknesses while rediscovering ourselves, to improve ourselves. "
