Synopsis: Tatsu, an infamous and feared yakuza boss nicknamed "the Immortal Dragon", retires from crime to become a househusband so that he can support Miku, his kyariaūman( career woman ) wife. The episodic series depicts a variety of comedic scenarios, typically wherein Tatsu's banal domestic work as a househusband is juxtaposed against his intimidating personality and appearance, and his frequent run-ins with former yakuza associates and rivals.
Personal Opinion Section
" The Way of the House-husband follows former Yakuza, Tatsu, through his daily life as a house-husband; the people he meets, his neighbours, etc...I haven't watched the anime yet but what I like about this manga is how it takes mundane things and stretches it to the point it becomes funny-- although most of them are caused when people misunderstand Tatsu. I mean, when you have a face-off between two gangsters you'd think they'd fight right? But no, the Yakuza here post a picture of their food on social media and the one with the more likes wins!
And boy is it fun following Tatsu's day to day life. He's a wholesome guy who cares about others and always tries his best. Despite his intimidating appearance, Tatsu is very dedicated and meticulous. The chapters are short, stand-alone chapters but fun to read nonetheless. The art is good and full of life. Give it a try if you have some time. " ~ blaziken01trainer
