42• Shivay and Veer

"Shivay.... What did you do? Why are you making fun of him?" His mom asked faking anger, just to convince her little one. A 5 month old baby girl was sleeping on her lap.

"He is doing drama mom. He throw your phone into the pool and when i said I'll tell you, he started his drama." Shivay, the elder one said smacking the little one's head lightly. His mom glared the little one.

"Is that true Rishi?" His mom asked glaring. Rishi pouted, indicating its true. But before she could say anything, his big brother Shivay came and stood beside him, wrapping his hand around the little one's shoulder.

"Let it be mom. He is baby. It happens. We'll buy another mobile. Just relax." Shivay said and his mom shook her head on his protective nature.

Suddenly the scene changed.

One man was running aimlessly. Another old man was running behind him. The first one had held a 3 year old kid in his hand.

"Dadu....." The kid was crying aloud, stretching his hand towards the old man. Suddenly the man carrying the kid, stopped running abruptly. He turned around towards the old man and smirked. The kid was looking at the duo with  shock. The man took out the gun and shot the old man, resulting him to collapse on the road, and he started to fight for his breath. The man ran away.

The scene again got changed.

The man landed on the London Airport with the kid. He came to a restaurant and dropped his luggage down. He sat on the chair and made the kid to sit beside him. They had food and the man turned to pay the bill. Taking it as a chance, the kid stood up and ran out of the restaurant. The man gasped realising it and he ran behind the kid. When he reached at the road, he saw the kid flying in the air, after hitting by a bike. He landed on the floor.

"Doctorrr....... Doctorr.... Come fast..... Doctorrrrr....." Shivay screamed aloud, watching Veer breathing heavily. His chest was waving up and down, the machine monitor showing variation. Om, Rudy, Khanna and Anika also started to scream for Doctor, watching Veer's condition. He was breathing heavily.

Doctor and nurses rushed in and started to check Veer. All were waiting impatiently. They made him wear the oxygen mask, still he was breathing heavily. Shivay's breath started to get uneven. He also started to breath heavily, panicking everyone present there, they made him sat on the couch. Soon ward boys brought one more bed and necessary machines into the room and another Doctor and nurse came in. Shivay got admited just beside Veer.

Now the youngsters were worried for 2-2 lives. They were crying. Om had held Khanna while Anika had held Rudy into her.

Both Shivay and Veer were breathing through the Oxygen mask, many wires attatched to their body.

In between the commotion, Shivay and Veer clutched eachother's hand unknowingly. Suddenly making everyone surprised, both of their breath got into normal. Everyone including Doctors and nurses, watched them with amusement. Shivay was unconscious. Veer opened his eyes just for some seconds and closed it again. Nurses removed the oxygen mask. Both the Doctors discussed something among them.

"You all please come outside, i want to talk to you all." The Doctor who treated Veer said to the clan. They followed the doctor out of the room while the nurses stood there to take care of both Shivay and Veer.

Doctor led them to his cabin.
"I read the reports of Mr. Veer and there is no damage to his brain. Mostly it takes years to a person to come out of the coma stage, especially when they are not responding to the treatment. But what happened some moment ago is not less than a miracle.  They both are connected to eachother very emotionally. As soon as Veer and Shivay recognised eachother's touch, they got their hope and that was beyond medical science." Doctor said making and the clan felt goosebumps hearing it. They knew their bond. But what they saw today just made them heartily and strongly believe that god is really there. Doctor continued...

"Does Mr. Shivay have a heat decease?" He asked, pausing for a second so that they could amswer.

"Yes Doctor." Om said and doctor nodded his head.

"Did he took his noon dose?" He again asked.

"No sir. He was adamant that he will take his medicines only after Veer gain his consciousness. We tried our best but he was stubborn." Anika said in mild voice.

"Hmm... Don't worry. He is okay now. We had given him an injection. He got panicked watching Veer and plus he skipped his medicine. Thats the reason for his condition. But he is absolutely alright and Veer as well. He is out of coma and both are our of danger as well. They both need some rest. They'll gain concious till tomorrow morning. You can stay with them." Doctor said giving a soothing smile. While the clan returned it to him.  They walked out of the cabin and entered the room. Om called Tej and informed him about the happenings. All sat on the couch and sleep took over them. Still Shivay and Veer had held eachother's hand tightly, in their sleep.
