42• Shivay and Veer

After whole three hours, the Doctor came out of the OT with a sad face. The family surrounded him with their curious expression.

"Sir my brother....." Shivay asked in mild voice.

"See,I'll not give you any false hope. To be honest, his condition is not much better. It feels like, he had lost his faith on himself. He is not fighting back. He is giving upon himself. He had slipped into coma. There were glass pieces on his body almost everywhere. Most terrible thing is that, there was three pieces of glass in his head as well." It was too much for the family. They gasped at the information. Jhanvi already started crying aloud. Tej was consoling her, crying himself. Om noticed the worry on Doctor's face.

"Is there anything more Doctor?" He asked curiously, gaining back the family's attention on Doctor..

"Yes. As i said, there were three glass pieces on his head. We had removed it and did a scanning of his head. Just waiting for the results. I don't know if the glass pieces have damaged his brain or not. If so happened, he may lose his eyesight or may have damaged his vocal. Or there is a chance for him to be paralyzed as well." It shook the feet beneath the Oberois. Elders sat on the bench, with a thud.

"Don't be panic. I just said some chances only. Just pray for his health." Doctor said as a nurse walked to him.

"Doctor, the results are at your cabin." She said and Doctor nodded his head.

"I'll be back after examining his reports, be strong." Doctor said patting on Rudy's shoulder.

"Doctor, can we meet him?" Khanna asked stopping him.

"Yes, he will be shifted to the observation room in sometime. Meet him there and speak to him normally, how you used to be. Just talk happy things. And i think, it'll help him to gain back the faith on himself." Doctor said and the youngsters nodded their head. Shivay turned to the elders.

"Dad, Bade papa and Badi Mom..... You guys go home and have some rest. We are here. We'll inform about his health." Shivay said and others agreed to him. The trio were denying. But the youngsters made them agree and finally send them back to the Farm house.

Youngsters entered into the observation room. They carried a warm smile, which was hiding their pain, successfully. All sat surrounding him.

"Hey Veer, surprise....." Shivay said smiling widely.

"We are here Veer, at London. I know you got a big surprise.We have a lot to tell you." Om said keeping the bouquet which they bought for him, on the table.

"Yes Veer. First you have to get well as soon as possible." Anika said standing beside Shivay. Rudy and Khanna were looking at him, with a smile pasted on their face. They were trying their best to hide their pain but was getting difficult. Shivay nodded his head in no looking at them. They took a long breath and pretended to be happy.

"You know what these both did Veer, while coming here?"Om said indicating Rudy and Khanna. Then they started to narrate every funny insident to him.

Veer's eyes were closed. He was listening to their talk. His inner self was awake. He could hear their voice and he clearly could feel the pain which they are trying to hide. They were still talking. They were talking and talking, about everything. Time didn't mattered to them, only he was. A lone tear escaped his eyes.

"Mom... See bhaiya is making fun of me." A small kid of 3 was running to his mom frowning, followed by a 6 year old kid, laughing and carrying a 5 month old baby. A long haired kid followed him who was probably of 5 year old.
